I have a pretty new and expensive PC and was just wondering if any harm could be done to it by leaving it on all the time?

Will this decrease the life of my PC? All temperatures are running fine.

it's perfectly alright to run your PC as long as its operating within acceptable temperature...i rarely turn off my computers... My desktop that I use for botting only gets turned off when I have to clean it and reapply thermal paste... Usually twice a year.. turning on and off your PC actually causes more stress to hardware due to temperature fluctuation (heat/cold shrink/expand)... So as long as your PC is operating within acceptable temps, it's fine :)

My machine gets shut down about 6 times a year, bi-monthly (baring thunderstorms directly overhead, insta shutdown and unplug lol, bad stories man) clean outs and service to my cooling systems. So as drizzle mentioned as long as your machine is maintained properly there are no issues running 24/7.

More healthy for a computer to keep going then get shut down and boot up 10, 20,30 times a day
