Is HB gonna be down for a day or so then?

This isnt a tripwire thread. Im aware, I understand what it is and why. What i dont understand is the length of time this is going to keep honorbuddy offline.

Conveniently timed considering tonight is a raid night, and having just built a brand spanking new pc and been a lazy arse, i have 0 macro's or keybinds set up. In short, if this doesnt or isnt going to come back - I need to put in my "not gonna be there tonight" post now :P

Apparently one of these happened a few days ago of which I missed. How long did it take that time?

And for those of you having a conniption over it, expect more. Just like the 12 hour matinenece the other day, id imagine theyre slowly prepping for the expansion which is going to amount to lots of inconveniences for players.

Except it apparently is.

I would say it's going to take a few hours. The time varies depending on the content of the warden update, and the speed in which the developers inspect it. Both are highly subjective.
 
You are not alone. Many people raiding on Tuesday night, including myself.
 
damn just bought the 3 day trail today :| don't have enough $$ for 1 month/lifetime yet

i thought lifetime was removed? darn. well, anyways, i just told my raid leader im not feeling well and im probably going to be off and on. the joys of raiding with a cross realm guild.

with the economy in the shape its in, its tough on some people. generally wow favors people that have more time to spare so students or people who don't have jobs looking or not. i mean NY alone the unemployment rate is HUGE. hell, im at the point where id sell a kidney if it would get me some money/the operation was free. i wonder if the HB team is looking for any help

Traditionally the Devs have taken care of peoples subscription time if they are not lifers in these situations, I don't see any reason it would be different this time.
 
Yea I noticed that. Tuesday is a big night for a lot of guilds for some reason. I guess based on the reset.

A few hours is gonna bend me over I think. I have less than 1 :(

Here's to hoping they're aware of Tuesdays status and make a hella push.

I have no clue how these things work but id like to think they have a filter that chops out all identical code and only leaves the changed stuff. A comparison tool of sorts... But again - what do I know :p
