Ok So I use to bot in the wowglider days so all you could do back then was grind non stop. So now coming back to this new bot
it seems a lot of people act/say grinding profiles is like an instant ban. my question is how and why?

does blizzard keep track of your hours in an area? why can't you create a profile that circles an entire zone so the grinding path is not such a giveaway as people who see you notice you're all over the place and not running in a small circle for 3-5 hours straight.

I have been out of the loop so I am just looking for some updated info and not a smart ass reply lol.

I also ask this because having to always babysit the questing profiles is a little annoying when you go afk and come back to find the bot couldn't complete a quest so instead of skipping that quest it simply turns off. while grinding is a sure way nothing silly is going to happen like this.

From what I've read on the forums Blizzard now keeps track of grinders now. So, yes. They may very well keep a log of your character in an area and the mobs you are killing etc. You can grind, just play it safe.

I see. It would be interesting to try a test account maybe with a dif IP and grind for 48 hours and see what happens
