Is druid the best class to gatherbuddy with?

It harvests herbs at a quicker rate than any other class.
It doesn't need to dismount to harvest because of flight form.
Great survivability.

What do you guys think?

I think that it does dismount for gathering? havent got my herbing up tp 300 yet so dont know for a fact.

i think yes, it's the best class actually...

just get it to 80, pvp for 2-3 days to get some decent gear and start gather with it

fast herbing and no dismount is a big plus

I just read that you have to dismount for mining but not for herbalism. Herbs are a lot more common than mineral nodes so it will still make your gathering a lot more productive.

As for Paladin, does crusader aura even affect flying mount speed?

Depends, DK and pally are obviously badass cuz of speed increase, but druid instacast mount is the only way to farm icecrown with out dying alot becuase it saves you when you fall.
