Is botting still worth it?

Hi Guys,

So I haven't played WoW in ages I've got around 8 lv90s over 6 or 7 accounts is it worth setting these accounts up to bot? can anyone give me an idea on ROI

7 Accs - ?63 per month

Should be able to get 30k gold per day bot 20 days a month so around $500-800 per month, does this sound feasible? realist-icily I should be able to pull $300 with minimal effort.

The problems you face are of course the risk of getting banned on all accounts at the same time and also the fact that you have to find a buyer willing to purchase the large amounts of gold you are selling every month. With 7 accounts running you could definitely get 30k gold per day (approx. 4.3k/bot) but offloading it is another story.
 
yea nowadays people get banned first 2-3 days of botting for 8 hours lol Cost of buying new accounts takes away any profit plus some
 
its like blizzard does not check at all if you are a bot. If you post herbs/ore You banned. If you fly around gather a herb your banned. If you dont Raid Your banned... Blizzard holds no proof what so ever nowadays on bans.
 
4,3k/bot day? = 200g ph? lol this does not worth the time
 
I have been using gb2 on the same acct for the last 7 months and have not been banned other than a 72 hour for getting stuck on a light post in trade district with kicks. The trick never mail or ah. I hearth when bags are full, deposit in gbank by hand, pull out from a clean acct and process the mats. I then sell the product from that clean acct. The mail and the AH are the big hang ups.
 
To be honest the only time botting is worth it in reguards to profit is if your going all or nothing. I mean running 20 accounts, masking ip, making gold selling site, spamming /2 for buyers.

Figure 7 accounts making 5k a day each would be 35k a day. that 1,050,000g. Sounds like a lot right? Well now factor in that accounts will get banned. Probably multiple ones at a time 2-4. Your going to probably average buying a account a month because of bans so -$120. then you have to pay the monthly charges $15x7 thats $105. So monthly cost is around $225(On the low side) Now also average the lost time making gold because of level new account and bans.

My biggest reason for not taking it serious. Your investment time will end up making you the same $/hr as a sweat shop ;)
 
A recent poll showed a 92% increase in bans due to botting, botting is dangerous and not worth the risk.
