Is AV worth doing at 50+ when its not the weekend?

Iv started a warlock on a friends server and obviously no heirlooms and its just pain full grinding right now, was wondering if its worth doing AV at 50 + grinding or is the exp not worth it when its not the BG's weekend?

You won't lose anything by trying but i would say no. because you need to be level 51+

If the queues in your battlegroup aren't bad I would say it's certainly worth it. My toon is currently in the 50s bracket also but I waited 2 1/2 hours in the queue yesterday before deciding to give up and go back to questing.

leveling through AV will take more time when its not its weekend but you have to remember that you are getting honor as well, at the rate im doing (mixed mode) i'll probably have enough honor by 80 to buy most, if not all, the epic PVP gear.

I go 51-60 in one day with Mixed-AV. Queue times are short and Horde wins without fail.

To give you an idea, I have my mage doing AV at lvl 56 and had just spent most of her honor except for a couple of hundred. It isn't AV weekend or anything. I left her go at 8:30pm, I came back at 6:45am, she was lvl 59 and had 10k honor.

So yeah, I would say it's a good thing.

I realized, weekend or not. AV > grinding/questing profiles for horde at lvl 58 for a warrior. Only botting AV from now till lvl 62-64

i do it. i'm 62 now. when i was 51+ i was leveling really fast with my warlock. Grinding alone i was getting 41K/hr killing fairly quickly and dense mobs. I went mixed and only did AV..i went to 87k/hr oveer a whole day i went from 51- 59 in no time. hell i was 59 and 1 bar when i came home from work..thought , damn 59 better give my friend his levels before i hit 60. Bot was still going , i logged on here to find a good 60+ profile , 45mins later i go back to wow , i'm 1 bar from 60. in 45mins !!! I even asked in trade if it was AV weekend , figured thats why i leveled so fast. It wasnt av weekend !!


i'm not doing it for honor , because i dont pvp , i wanted to try it to see if it was worth it. IMO , it is. i'm going to do with any new toon i run.
