Don't think they are trolling. I think it's pure shock that anyone, in todays world, would put in a request like you did and actually expect someone to just "hand over" thier account, with your "word" that you'd give it back. That's kinda like me asking you to lend me your credit card and the information relating to it "just the overnight", so I could show it off. I'd give it back tomorrow with nothing spent.
