Is anyone else pissed off with the new changes?

Absolutely love that talent specs are gone, they were just an illusion. Everyone just looked up their class at noxxic, elitistjerks, arenajunkies or icy-vein and copied whatever the hot build of the month was.
And it didn't really matter what site you went to, the information was all the same.

True some of the classes are pretty skewed at the moment, I trolled over 2 mages and a rogue on my paladin in tol barad earlier.
But I'll wait to see how things fair at level 90 and with some proper gear.
Remember that this period is not meant to be right in any way, everything they did in patch 5.0.4 is to facilitate the expansion.
Same as the last pre-expansion patch, things were crazy back then also.

I have to agree with you here. I want to see how things really play out at level 90. I think it will be more different than people think. Also, gotta love the AOE looting, makes it way easier! Good post!
 
Id say I'm a little torn as to weather I dislike or like the changes per-say. This is a pre-patch, meaning you have all of this new stuff, but it's in an old environment, so it always feels a little weird. It's modeled after the new expansion, I guess I could say.

Class changes happen all the time, and I also don't think those are always that bad. Shaman perhaps a little too far. I didn't like the new Disc Priest when cata came out, so I had to switch mains. I know what it's like to really not like the new changes. That's a personal aspect of every wow patch.

Talent System: The old one had very little leg room for changes that didn't make you look retarded. Cookie cutter stuff was boring, but you did it once, a couple times a month at the most. I think removing the stuff you know everyone has to pick anyway is cool, but I'm already a little annoyed having to switch glyphs every. Single. Fight. I don't think there would be a better approach to it, but I'm hoping they come out with some addon that makes profiles for these or something so I can just click "XXX boss name here" and be done with it. Also, something to switch the icons around on my action bars, that really annoys me!

Mobile AH; Guild Chat: Gone are the days of being alone in your guild chat, when everyone's phone is watching you.

AoE Looting: Praise the holy wow jesus and all of his glory. You can't even count the times I've some low level something-or-other and I'm too lazy to loot because I group them up and kill like 40 of them. I'm not going to spend a minute and a half trying to loot, or find which one to click to actually loot it. This, while stolen from other mmo's and totally late, is really cool.

Cooking: Why? Just why? They really went overboard on cooking, for stuff that once you finish, you will only use 2-3 recipes at most. They over complicated a very simple aspect of the game.

The Ally/Horde "Hubs": They don't have AH's. Which is probably to alleviate the crowding factor you could see with that. It's a much smaller shattrath, that is only useful as a medium to get some basic supplies, shove crap in your bank after a raid, and log out without having to wait 20 seconds, or to wait to fly for a raid.

My normal routine for raiding right now: AH -> Guild Bank -> Some Dailies -> Helping others with Gems/Enchants -> Flying There

MoP Routine: Use portal to org for AH -> Hearth back -> Guild Bank -> Dailies -> Helping Others who ARENT IN ORG -> Flying There.

Another annoying step. It's an overblown Inn.

That's all I really have so far. The rest of the eye-candy and dailies and such are alright.

Sucks I wasn't there? I've been playing since Vanilla there buddy. Such as when Shamans could tank and everything broken back in Vanilla? Yea ok
 
What the fuck are you talking about? The game isn't easier, i bet 100 bucks right now you havent even completed DS 25 on heroic, or you dont have an arena master title, if the game is so easy, why did hundreds of thousands of people return ALREADY since the 5.0.4 patch? Its not blizzard that ruins the game, its people like you that ruin the game by bitching every single god fucking damn patch. The game is better than ever before and i do agree, entire cataclysm was bad because of lack of care from Blizzard (it seems) but bitching on this patch and saying it's ''Easy'' is fucking retarded.

Also, MoP isn't even out you realise that? The Talents etc. are based on level 90 characters and stats, and there is a challenge mode for assholes like you that keep calling everything easy, yet dont have any heroic endgame achievements that are relevant.
 
well all i can say is , i just hit a ghoul in HoT for 116k dam using Holy Shock ,(almost 1 shot it) in holy spec and hunters are kicking ass atm

I literally have everything you said, without botting. I am not bragging, but I was a guild leader and I taught many people "how to raid" and "how to pvp" and I remain one of the best at both (which doesnt mean as much on my "medium population" realm but it still means something)

If it's not easier, what exactly is harder? On top of the new DS nerf, my guild who has cleared heroic 25 DS a long time ago, is seeing significant dps increases across the board. Not too sure what context you're trying to use it in, but for me and many others, everything seems fairly easier.
 
Oh come on.... Changes happen. Some help some specs more then others. You can nag about it, you can whine about it but that ain't gonna help anyone.
Changes is gonna happen. Live with it. More importantly: Ride with it and enjoy it because without change this game would've bored half the earth's population to death a long time ago.
(oh... wait... that may actually be a good thing ;))

I highly doubt you 'remain one of the best on both' First of all you'd be on youtube posting videos for money instead of being on a botting forum, and its pretty obvious you lie since Arena Master goes outside of realms since you need to battle all realms to get 2.4k rating in all brackets. Nice try
 
I'm certainly not pissed off. Doing top DPS on Madness Heroic as a Tank is great IMO.
 
At first I raged a little bit at the changes. I felt like they oversimplified the talents and glyphs are just a joke. But I don't mind anymore, they change it up to keep it fresh, they were all talents we had to take anyway, now we just get a few choices that alter things, albeit random things. Rogues ending up with premed and shadowstep in the same row is a little rough, and shamans are a bit wonky atm, but its not so soo bad. As for vanilla being harder, yeah it was, but its give or take really. When raids first come out now, they're still a bit of a challenge. Then after awhile, they nerf them for the casual people. I think that's fair, at least for people like me who work all day, then go to college for night classes. When I get home, I don't want to bang my head on a boss all night, I want to see the story, fight some neat bosses, and get some stupid nonexistant piece of loot for my fictional character. No ones forcing anyone to play, and we all know botting just makes it more enjoyable.

yes the game was harder want proof? Look at the top guilds per server and the difference between them.
very few guilds per server, even on a populated one such as Barthilas, full population we had HUGE difficulty having any guild tied in first, or anything along those lines.
Our top 3 guilds were always 1 boss apart at the least.

Not nostalgia, it's fact, judging that FACT you can't understand the difference between facts and nostalgia, and just say nostalgia because it you obviously never played back then, please keep it to yourself as you are going to be endlessly wrong.
Those who played in BC, know it's fun, the fact you even mention nostalgia with BC shows you never played it.

I put it simply, that way your mind can understand.

Well, for the love of god I hope people would improve at playing this game for 8 years now things would get easier... I feel bad for someone who does something for 8 years and still sucks at it...
