Is a lawsuit against Blizzard valid?

Its simple...you can sue anyone for anything...will you win who knows but you sure can try.

hm so you reject their TOS but you accept their (not existing) ban-pattern?!

there is no guarantee that they will first suspend for xy time before perma banning,
plz post the link to the source.... it always say something like:

if you violate the TOS blablabla we may suspend your account up to but not limited to a permanent account closure

or something like this.

Lol, I could buy another account with more items, but I won't do this on principle. I also no longer feel the game is worth spending money on, as I once did. I am ready to cancel my WoW subscription for the very same principle. I refuse to financially support Blizzard on any level for any reason. No, they don't need my money, but I don't care. I'm still a customer and should be treated as such. Yes, I'll go ahead and give up on Blizzard gaming entirely if this is truly the only message I can send to them.

I don't except their generic ban policy that DOES exist. I neither approve nor disapprove of it. The fact is that they pretend to have a policy, but they really dont. They can't even follow their own published recommended procedures. Do a search for "pyramid" or even throw "ban" in there on battle.net. It should come up. I'm not going to look it up for you...just read it yesterday though.

Agreed, and so I'm going to try. I'm guessing 50/50 or maybe 60/40 in favor of Blizzard that it will work. I guess I got my answer from this forum though. The general consensus is that my claim is completely and utterly invalid on account of the scary Blizzard TOA. I guess that's what makes lawyers valuable...they win battles that aren't always easy to win.

nice thread but has nothing to do with our boards
