GGG is aggressively pursuing what looks to be botting/rmt activity on new accounts.
If you make a new account and bot on it, chances are it's going to get banned, not because they are detecting Exilebuddy specifically, but because your play behavior matches their profile as to what constitutes a new bot.
Grind Bot is not a bot that will allow you to create a new character at level 1, and then bot your way up to end game in a way that can avoid server sided detection like that. As a result, smarter botting is required if you are going to bot at low levels on new accounts/ips. In fact, you probably shouldn't bot on a new account until after you've played through the game once and unlocked the scion, and have taken at least a a few days, if not a week to do so, playing very little every day.
Path of Exile, while a F2P game, is not a game where the devs don't care, so they will be doing everything they can to detect and ban botting behavior on new accounts and stop RMT.
We'll be working on a bot that can play through the game and do all that, but chances are it's going to require specific botting time limits and prevent users from having full control of how it's actually used. For now though, you can use Grind Bot however you want, but using it on a new account/ip doesn't seem to be a good idea.
