Invalid key?

Hey, guys! I just decided to start using honorbuddy again. I bought a new key, but when I put it in the login it says that it is invalid. I sent a message to support and they said it hasn't been activated yet. I thought putting it in the login does that. I have not used it for a while so something may have changed. Any help in what I should be doing?
