Hey guys - Devs - Etc.
So I've been using IB since it was first released. I've DPS/Healed just about every single instance that was scripted. This tool is invaluable when your needing gear upgrades and good XP. So - naturally when I saw that IB could support some instances in tanking I just had to try it out. Well, I have some constructive suggestions.
Enter Dungeon:
1. Looks at HP and Mana for each of the 4 other players. Checks to see if it can use bandage on them or cast a few heals. (Only if available.)
2. Waits 10 seconds if mana / health is clear.
3. Moves to pick up quests if any.
4. Preforms /ready-check (doesn't matter if your ready or not, its the fact that someones doing it)
5. Starts attack.
Tanking:
1. Please turn off the range finder - or have an option to turn it off.
2. Have the tank check mana of the healer, if above 50% then proceed. If not it gives a 5-20 second pause for heals to react and says a custom message such as "Mana?" or "U good heals?".
3. If all is OK in the group, healers mana is good, the tank should finish combat, wait 3-7 seconds and move onto next group.
4. Runners - DO NOT ALLOW TO CHASE PLEASE. If the target runs the bot needs to switch to next closest target.
5. Custom message - "cmon, let me pull guys" - This is used if someone pulls for the tank.
6. Aggressive, Average, Cautious - Identifies the fighting pattern.

Aggressive - Runs right to the mob. Starts tanking, does not give much attention to groups health and or mana unless below 35%. (May be set to chase runners)

Average - Runs to range of mob. Range pulls, gives moderate attention to groups health and or mana unless below 50%. (May be set to chase runners) May use instant healing spells to heal self and others if needed.

Cautious - Runs to range of mob. Range pulls, backs up 5-10 yards (adjustable) tanks in spot. Pays heavy attention to health and mana unless below 75%. May use instant healing spells to heal self and others if needed. Casts protection spells on healer.
Woops I pulled too much or that stupid mage doesnt know how to control agro:
1. Taunt? Can we make this work in CC's?
2. A custom message - "hey, wait for agro guys" - only repeated 2-3 times total with a maximum combination of 10-20 custom messages.
3. Add Detection - Picks up (or helps to pick up) adds that boss's may spawn.
Overall the complex pulls associated with cata in my opinion should not be done by a program. Its just too, decision dependent, for me. So - most fights up to 80 are straight tank / spank and easily done.
Again, I truly appreciate all the hard work the DEVs do and you guys deserve a lot more than what we give you.
If anyone has any constructive criticism to add to this, or would like to add / eliminate some aspects then please by all means do so.
