Instancebuddy - A Premium Dungeon Finder Bot

Excellent Plugin. Repped earlier.

A couple meshing issues but get one in the Quagmirrian BC dungeon. Will get co-ordinates for it later but its before a boss fight and it struggles to get out of the water and ends up running back and forths trying to get onto a platform.

Found it was hard to bot between 50-60 but once you get BC dungeons it flys through the levels nearly AFK
 
Wish this was AFK friendly.

Tried out UT Keep on normal and everything was fine but on the first boss he ended up running about in circles between the boss (Prince Kaleesh, and the adds). Had to manual take over.

Also Now wth instance locks IB is ok to run on a few dungeons but without random heroic support I'm not really using it. Ib is a fantastic idea but without HB flying support (not your fault) it hamstrings IB usage.

I bot to be able to afk. If any1 has found any of the dungeons afkable (complete, no touching whatsoever) then could they either PM or post here?

Just some feedback.

Well, on the main page it says "DO NOT USE INSTANCEBUDDY UNATTENDED"
So I guess it's not meant to be used AFK, just to ease the way to gather gear.
But the issues you've mentioned I didn't have so far.
I let the bot go, and just occasionally have a look.
CoT is a problem, since it should use the gossip with chromie to port to the instance start (like everyone else does) instead of walking all the way, but further I have not noticed many problems with running the dungeon as a DPS.
 
Guys, can someone who already lvled 80 with instancebuddy paste here his mesh folder? Maybe this will help for those who have that mesh downloading issue. Cheers.

They just need to download the new version of HB, I believe - they shoulda done that anways, issue or no issue.
 
great so far... all northrend dungeons up to VH (since im lvl 74) are working fine except in Azjul Nerub, bot never takes the big jump right before anub...
 
when we have reque with same group unchecked, why does it stay in the group until there are 3 or less anyway? i don't want to reque with the same group. they may reque as random and we get some instance that isn't 100% bottable. gundrak for one or oculus etc etc. can it be set so it leaves once instance is over? then reque itself right after?
 
*suggestion* if corpse run fails, when he rezes and hearths he should leave group once he gets to his hearth location.

Not sure if mine just bugged out and didn't do it, as that's the first time I'd seen IB do that, so I'll include a log.

  • *NEW* IB will now leave dungeons that are not selected in the GUI (blacklisted dungeons) while doing randoms.
  • *NEW* Added an option to loot or not in instances. IB will only loot if tank's distance is lower then 40 yards. It is not suggested to turn looting on.
  • *FIX* IB will now properly leave dungeon when its completed.
  • *FIX* A bug where IB selects wrong party member as tank
  • *FIX* A bug where IB doesn't reset the corpse run timer resulting in an instant "Corpse run is failed" message.

Was in Deadmines and 3 players left, bot said about leaving after 60secs but got into combat and after that the leader wen't offline and bot just stood still? waited like 5mins and stopped the bot, after a while I think the leadership would have been given to me but anyway wouldn't it be better to just leave instantly at that point?

Same thing happened to me.
