Instance grind for gold?

Any thoughts on how to safely instance grind after raffing 5 toons or is it a waste of time?
 
I'd say it's the quickest way to jump into making a good amount of gold daily, in my opinion. It's also a way to start making gold so you can level professions and make even more gold.
 
How long do you think you can do the same instance over and over to avoid getting on their radar? 5-6 hours worth of playing?
 
Why not run randoms if you have your own 5 man team wouldn't that be less obvious than the same dungeon for 8hrs? It's what I do anyway :)

Look it's probably no where near what it could be but what I have done to make it profitable is one of the characters has enchanting so all the gear is DE during the run. I am generally getting 2k raw gold per character (so around 10k a night roughly 6-8 hrs) then I sell the enchant mats and turn some into enchant scrolls to sell. It's coming to the end of MOP so they don't sell as well but so far (touch wood) no problem with bans or suspensions.

I could be way off the mark but I figure 5 characters running random heroics looks less obvious than the one dungeon over and over but It's all a guess :)
 
That's actually probably one of the safest ways you could be botting right now.

2k raw gold per hour per character? seems a bit exhaggerated tbh

its 2K per character per night (6-8 hrs) so we are ~ 250-333 GPH per character ... its pretty good because its pure gold, we have to add the sells from DE and cloth
 
I run a WotLK HC dungeon on one account and it gives me about 500-550G RAW an hour, which I find pretty nice. Considering I can also get a rare drop that sells for about 2k (sometimes I get like 5 a day) and tons of frostweave.
Made 110k in exactly a week of hardcore botting 16h a day. Im expecting a ban any second now.
 
I shut my Gather Farm down around a year ago, sold of all but 2 of my accounts and started casual BOT'ing. I had high hopes of getting it back up and running with the anticipated release of "Farmer Joe"by FPSware, but that never came to fruition.

A couple of months ago I picked up 3 Battle chests and started running 5 man groups. I leveled/geared them out and now 5 man heroic farming is what I do (to gold farm) probably 90% of the time. As stated it is not the insane 1k-2k gph that I could get running gathering/pickpocket stuff awhile back, nor is it probably as profitable as farming old instances individually, but I feel the risk is so much less that the drop in gph is worth it for me. I have not lost an account since starting this method.

If you intend to try to make real income from this you should probably stick to other/higher gph methods and go ballz to the wall expecting bans. But if you are looking for some solid income with some consistency and (again my opinion) a very low ban rate then this works very well. I figure I am in the 250-350gph range myself, confirming the previous statement.
 
With 5 accounts at 60 dollars a month total, are you actually profiting while running heroic 5 mans?

well lets say 300gph per account....at 10 hours a day....that would be 15k a day.....so $7.5 dollars a day.....10 days would be 75 dollars....so yea profitable.

Was it with 90's or 85's you ran with? :)

I agree but im not farming to sell gold so for me its a by product of the fact I wanted to try my own 5man team so as to not have to run with randoms do old raids and make some gold on the side for the Gbank. If you where after pure gold to sell and dont care about your accounts then obviously POS or one of the other dungeons would do better but it's always a trade off versus getting banned.

I would like to keep my five accounts into WOD so as to run dungeons to level up my toons by myself (or at leasat that's my goal if the dungeons aren't to hard).

Spot on Relapse some people do not comprehend english I guess :) and of course that's not taking into account all the enchanting mats I end up with. I haven't kept a track record but I have been selling all the scrolls, shrads etc almost instantly (although maybe at not the best price curently) also I have tailoring so all cloth as well so it all ads up.

I just wanted to look for a safe way to get honor gear for my five new toons by running randoms and found it was netting me enough gold for what I wanted with less risk of being banned (or so I believe) fingers crossed of course as I dont want to jinx myself.

I cover the cost of the accounts, and have some extra to stash away for WOD. Like I said I am not trying to make a ton of Real cash this way. I have already run that gauntlet, I'm just Hobby Botting now, or at least until WOD release.
 
Be carefull I have been running 2x Pallies in HOS and HOL and over night and this morning I got two whispers one from a lvl 90 geared out and the other a lvl 1 Warlock kind of scared . I can not see what they said anywhere nor do I have any plugins to respond or log me out. Thought I post this here instead of making another thread
