[Information] regarding updating/patching of Diablo 3 and DemonBuddy

Hi and welcome. I hope this information will help people understand how Diablo3 and botting works, where there are updates.

When there is a Diablo 3 patch/update. DemonBuddy will NEVER work. It needs an update aswell as your Diablo that you just updated.

Allways check here Demonbuddy Forum and see if this [Release] Demonbuddy - Joyfull Wednesday Build (#288) has a higher number Eg. (#289) If it does, you should allways read about what the DemonBuddy team fixed/added.
Or you can just open DemonBuddy, login and see if it wants you to update. It will allways check if there is a newer version of DemonBuddy available.

There is a difference on when Blizzard apply patches! They do US one day before they do EU.

The US update is allways on Tuesday
The EU update is allways on Wednesday
But not every Tuesday/Wednesday will there be a new patch.

So all you really want to know is this: When can I bot again!?

It normaly takes the Demonbuddy team 10-24 hours to make an update for Demonbuddy. So if you play on US servers you get cheated a little compared to EU users.

I hope this will stop people from posting mindless posts about when they can bot/why DB crashes?/ WTF IS GOING ON!!!

Edit: Sorry I have no idea how the Russion and Asien servers work. IF any one have information about them, please post or PM me so I can post it here

I do have a question though, the 10-24 hours, when does that start, is it from when people can start playing again, or in regards to when the patch started- just curious because i know that PTR has updated patches etc
if you dont know thats cool, ill flip a coin
 
I think it took longer then 24 hours the last patch. Nesox havent been online for 6 hours now so it might take over 24 hours this time too.

And he probably means at the moment the patch goes live.
 
WTH.. you mean my computer is not actually being controlled by demonic entities that play for me?!?!?!?!?!

Usually, once EU server is patched, DB team releases the DB update. Sometimes they release it before then, and sometimes they release it after. Regardless, they're spending the time to make sure that 1) DB works with current patch; 2) DB is still safe to use with current patch; 3) no new bugs/issues have arisen as a result of updating DB/the new patch. So there is no set time frame, but you can rest assured that there will be an update soon and you can be back to botting in no time.

Would this explain why my RU client is not patching properly and it keeps looping for me?
