Ok so heres my problem. I purchased the bot on january 16th, and on the 17th i have recieved an email from blizzard that my account is under investigation. I didnt even really start using the bot until the 18th and 19th. I tested out a a3 profile couldnt even really get it working the first night and got it set up full proof by the 18th. How can my account be under suspicion after a day? The only reason my account isnt banned right now i believe is because i just started playing d3 again after 6months. I live in a different state with a different ip address from when i use to play at the launch of the game. Im thinking my account is going to get the ban stick pretty quick here. Ill answer any questions and please dont flame. I know my grammer and spelling sucks.

Do you think that Blizzard will send you an email from a yahoo account? It's fake mate.

for fucks sake, no company will EVER ask for your password in an email.
you haven't used the internet for very long, have you?

this is basic shit, oldest scam in the book.

Ha calm down everybody. This is good info, lots of people get duped by stuff like this all the time so thanks for the info!

Also, change your password and stuff just to be safe.

OMFG. If the OP is lucky enough to get old, he's going to wear a shirt with an enlarged picture of his Medicare card on it. He epitomizes the reason why many large companies get "hacked": their employees are oblivious of reality and possess not even one shred of common sense. They were hired by like-"minded" people who bumble through life, as they do, downloading viruses and giving away credit card numbers, all in a desperate attempt to get home in time for a rerun of "The X Factor."

Edit: I made the post less cynical.

if you fall for phishing emails, maybe botting isnt for you.

work on your savvy-ness before you fall victim.

But there you go, thats the problem! its an old trick but a lot still beleave it because they get worried and dont even look at things realisticly!
I actually got a message from a (GM) called BlizzardGM1 a few days ago, he told me my account was suspicious etc.
And I should go to a website, login and what ever. - Scam as usual, they try anything todays days.
-Cheers

On a side note, I myself received that email just yesterday. Just so i can point out, if you hover your mouse over the links in the email, it redirects you to another site ( phising site ).

Since this is not a banned report,

Closed.
