I'mg getting back into WoW and am going to buy HB in a few days. Any Advice?

Well I took a long break and I thought I quit WoW once WotLK came out. Though I should have known, no one ever quits WoW.

I have TankLeader and love it and since I've been taking a break from WoT I decided I might try my luck in WoW with some assistance from HB.

So I am just merely asking any of you pro's and experts in WoW botting with HB to give me a few points and tips.


What I plan on doing:

Having a diverse bot schedule time and content wise. Meaning I will be mostly leveling/questing as well as profession leveling a bit with the bot. I probably will babysit the bot or atleast be on my computer while running it and checking it routinely, in case of stuck and so forth.

Will not be doing any pvp with the bot unless anyone can convince me otherwise.



I have checked out a few of the threads and topics on here and have a few questions I would love answered.

About Scroll of Resurrection

I was planning on having a friend use a SoR on my account I deleted all my old characters/gear so I wouldn't the free 80 and free Cata as well. Though I have seen a few posts about not using SoR. Is there any reason against this? Everyone I looked at said all the SoR accounts get banned immediately.

using an SoR on yourself no worries man..the SoR accounts people are talking about getting banned aren't an issue of yours..that's something else entirely don't even worry about it..you're that much better off not even knowing what they were ;-)

there's 2 major schools of thought on botting..

closet botters like myself that make as best an attempt as I can think to..not to get banned..

hardcore ride or die botters that are always pushing for higher uptime..higher efficiency & figure its only a matter of time before the ban comes & its coming..so bot long bot strong..

only you can decide which you are my friend.. & what you're comfortable with..

Ah okay thanks for the clarification on the SoR issue. Yes I'd rather bot long and strong than just have a great efficiency with only a short lived uptime. Thanks for the help again!

well, on the topic of the SoR, should I use them on the 6 accts I used to use for botting, as they haven't been used in 2 years, i'm currently only using one new acct/bot at moment to try n get back into swing of things.

Only thing that really mattered for me is the free 80 and Cataclysm. So if you need them then why not?

Also if anyone can suggest any plugins/profiles for Honorbuddy, I'd be eternally grateful!
