Why do there have to be magical solutions. It seems to me a lot of the problems can be fixed easily from what other people have said.
And also, wouldn't it be great to make money WHILE have fun. The way I see it, DB would be crippled without you.

scissors, no thats not true. The problems db got are right down the core and giles is trying to work around some of the most buggy core functions.
And they are making ALOT of big changes that will make the bot run smoother and im sure that we would have seen those changes already if HB didnt need so much work atm.
What makes DB great is that we, the users can change almost everything for the bot, though only if we got the knowledge how.
But none of the other D3 bots have even been as editable(dont know if thats a actual word xP) as DB is, and that is still DBs strength.
Almost all of the awesome features of HB is made by the community, but it took years!

I got a real job so i dont really wanna work for bossland too, because if i work i have expectations on me... Now i just got the free will of doing wtf i want on my free time xP

I do know who kane is and i also know that almost everyone thought he was a twat(harsh but true).
I do know that DB could be so much more, but atm im trying to work with what we got.
I dont care if i put in 100 more hours then the DB dev together, because i do what i do because i think its fun!
Create things and make other users happy are really giving, but in the same time i have to accept what DB is
and what DB is not, and so do you.

Radonicx, you enjoy helping others in the community with what we got atm; We do appreciate it. But you seems not very upset with the current situation of DB support. (Not saying you are defending DB team).
tropicalia on the other hand, wants more results from the devs team, just like those ordinary customers - 'I need at least got what I paid for. If I don't, I complaint and point it out.'

Community driven bot improvement does have its good, e.g. HB. But leaving all works to the community cannot satisfy majorities' need.

I am truly hoping you and Ciggarc don't do this. Quite honestly if you guys left right now, this bot would be dead. It's the whole reason I still donate to you guys. You put out great work and without you this bot is nothing.

This bot truly is just a supped of version of auto-it right now. Random dungeons would have changed that but they're still not working. I appreciate the work that is done by the Devs but I agree, I've never quite seen pay-to-use bot with such atrocious development. Which is sad because this bot could be great.

I myself have used some of your profiles and they're great. My point is: imagine Diablo III was released without levels. Just the game engine, an API to interact with it, the main menu, and the options. Users have to make the levels. There's no level editor. One of the major features of the game is broken. It is updated every month or so, with only minor bugfixes. Oh, and the game is subscription based and has unavoidable DRM on it. Feels fair?

The magical solution is putting in hours and hours of hard work and coding like their users (forcibly) do and have done. We don't have access to the source code, THEY do. So there's no excuse. And even if there IS an excuse, apparently they don't feel like we deserve to know.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that if the most popular plugins for a bot consist of lots of ways to override the built-in bot functions...there's something quite wrong with the bot.

Atm we just have to accept that WOW is a bigger game and that they got more customers that use HB then DB...

If they are not able to keep up with their multiple products, they could've told us before taking our money. Because if "keeping up with WoW" is the reason DB is so awful nowadays, I feel like the temporary license system is just a vehicle to keep juicing users or force them to buy the most expensive, forever license.

Well i do see where you come from, but what i ask myself is: What bot would i use instead? Which bot will farm A1, A2 or A3 with almost player like pathing and avoidance. Sure its abit buggy but people are slowly but surly working that out.
You can yell all you want and quit D3 or do what ever you want(im not saying you should, im just stating that you CAN) but the facts and reality doesnt change

We will get the random update when its released, i know its a blizzard answer but its the truth :S

It's too bad that before I purchased my license for DB there was no way to do research on the bot. Maybe big Bossland could make it so anyone at all could just browse the forums at anytime without even subscribing to the bot to see that the profiles/plugins and whatnot are all necessary.

Haha yeah I know. I did my fair share of research in the forums before i purchased myself. I was just mocking the people here who are crying because they weren't just handed everything they want upon signing up. I think this bot kicks ass, the DB dev team are doing a banging job on the bot as far as i'm concerned and the people who devote their time to creating profiles and plugins for the community are the real heroes here. I've been running my bot almost 24/7 for the last 2 months and have no complaints so far.

To everyone who dedicates their time to improving on this bot I want to say keep up the good work.

in first place get yourself some manners (piece of shit, retarded etc; wtf is wrong with you???). your comments started to look more and more arrogant in the last weeks. just my opinion.

and be honest at least while posting: you dont create profiles to make people happy in the first place (it was probably a month ago, but not anymore), you create profiles to get the donations. this DONATE HERE written with maximum fontsize in each thread of yours exactly proves it. you even "oursourced" the download links to some cheeky adfly website in order to earn just FEW CENTS more.

and just to be clear, there is nothing wrong with donations. it keeps people being motivated but this BEGGING for donations and claming the core motivation is to make people happy just doesnt sum up.

you even teamed up with others in order to avoid competition and to share the donations. i bet in first place the reason for "collaboration" was not to create better bigger profiles


and to whole topic: the OP clearly got the point. it is argueable whether it would have been better to chose another words, but he got the point. i only can second what tropicalia wrote, great postings!
