I have two different Diablo III accounts. One account I consider my Main and the other, secondary, I got from a friend who stopped playing the game. If I were to log in and bot under the secondary account using the same computer, IP address and game launcher as the main would this put my main account at risk? If anyone has experience with this please share.

NO, even if you are to transfer items from one to another it still shouldnt trigger a ban on both accounts, just dont use the trade window, rather just drop the items on the ground and pick em up with your main. Gold transfering can increase the chances of getting banned on both accounts but you can always buy gems drop em on ground and sell em with the main class (you lose 15% but safer this way imo).

i use the same ip the same Pc for all my bots and main account too
i transfer gold and items on this PC too

i have been banned once december 2012 ONLY and my main not banned

and i havent single ban still

I lost 15% from gold earnings, whichrepresents about 20% of my overal earnings (rest 80% if not more is from items). And about losing time ? How long does it take you to buy gems with all the gold on an account ? 2 clicks ?
