Hey all.

I'm using questing right now, and I got full bag, so it began to port back to town.

But the funny part is that I haven't learned the town portal yet. So your program codes goes deep inside diablo's crappy coded game.
And this worries me a lot. I think there is a big possibility that I will be banned for that, because it very easy to see for blizz that a toon begin to cast townportal, without having it yet.

So, should I be worried?

I'm pretty sure we got flagged, i also notec this when i ran the 2-12 profile :/

how do you know you got flagged? only because you saw this "feature" doesnt automatically mean that blizz did

No, but it is very easy for blizz to see that we pop town portal, without even having it.

Meanwhile at blizzard HQ
*Satellites linking up and whatnot*
*Red flashing light goes off*
" Sir, does that mean what I think it means? "
" Johnson! Don't panic, we have a town portal security breech! "
*Alarms and stuff going off*
" Sir, I dont know how hes doing it, he hasnt learned the town portal yet!? "
" Johnson, hit the ban button hurry, before its too late! "

Sorry, just the story that just went through my brain when I read this....

Edit for - I dont know why his name is johnson....

we are not using any hacks, nothing to worry about

TBH ( no bot used) I made a new character and was trying to TP and wondering wtf when i wasnt but i dont think I got flagged for being a tired nub nub and trying to use a TP i didnt have yet on that toon.

there are a million ways blizz could flag and detect botters if they wanted to, something as simple as positioning would work, it would be impossible for a player to exactly mimic a bot's pathing - all they'd have to do was pull player positions in certain zones and if you have enough coordinates that match the bot profile, you are definitively, unarguably botting.

They are either too stupid or lazy to do this, or they don't actually care about botting and only its effects on the economy. They ban gold sellers whenever they can, but in wow, for example, even if you get caught red handed, if you're botting pvp its a warning and then a temp ban before you get a real ban.. they really don't give a shit.

Do you know the amount of resources and HDD space it would take to check people's positions?

Do you know how much of a load on the game servers it would be to log your position every time you moved for every player ? Not gonna happen.
