If you focus on PVP, what class would be your pick?

Hi,

I'm talking about your main character here, no botting ones.

I have a paladin and was playing retri and protribution in PVP but it kinda sucked. Of course i don't blame the 'paladin' for it all, since i need alot of practise aswell... It just seems i'm struggling to hard with choosing the dps role as pvp paladin.
95% of top players (paladins) are holy (arenajunkies), so there must be some catch here.

I like doing damage and i only have time to do some pvp because of a busy RL, what would you suggest taking?

I'm thinking about arms warrior, since they seem to be a solid pvpclass for a long time. Don't know bout the 'learning curve or difficulty' of this class though...
What about holy DK? Is this a solid pvp'er?

I might consider a warlock, shaman or SPriest eventhough i think im more into the melee scene.

There're alot of changes of course but there must be some classes that have 1 dps build for sure thats pretty solid.

PvP is currently extremely caster-favored. But I think the shammy is awesome as it can like 2-shot you and heal

How is it not hands down mage? Theres a poll on arenajunkies about most OP class and mage is at 65% votes (700 ppl) haha. I play a mage, they're rediculous and just got buffed with yesterdays patch

If you like range go mage if you like melee go Rogue, I play Rogue as my main and it is very easy to tear sh!t up in PvP

Mage hands down as they crit 10ks with world drop BOE's. And plus they have a few CC's for HB that have been fine tuned for PvP

feral is the second if not first best 1v1 class and is amazing, and prob wont get nerfed due to cast OP, and if they do you always have balance

EDIT: mages and warlocks are easysauce for feral

I myself roll a sub rogue as my main. I can do some insane burst, or i can choose to keep a resilient player locked down until his hp is ALL gone. + we rogues are not as vulnerable as earlier. CoS is now complete immunity, soon dots wont break stealth/vanish and at last, recuperate - though they just nerfed it 33%

Yeah i would have to say rogue also because now with the new patch they fixed a problem with our poisons not working correctly with our AP and i love the fact that i can choose my fights as i want and i ALWAYS have the options to get out of it when i bite off more then i can chew. I have also started to tinker with my druid for some pvp and its a little tricky to figure out but once you do its pretty beastly. All and all i would roll a rogue.

Rogues are monstrously OP atm, and Pallies have been OP since launch. Pick one of those two.

Frost Mage/ Feral Druid/ Sub Rogue (if you want to 1 shot people, but arn't really good after opener) or keep your Pally. A good Prot Pally in pvP is literally unstoppable. As a 75 Prot Pally i can easily 3v1 people and 1v1 some 80's. Get 3 Holy Power then use Word of Glory = 15k instant heal >.<

Well i would start off by getting a PVP game, instead of trying to PVP in a PVE game with 0 PVP balance.

keep in mind all this information is about 2 weeks old, so i dunno what has happened between cata and such.

Feral druid was pretty good.
Rouge pretty much raped a lot of people.
My paladin always ranks top 5 (keeping in mind I haven't pvped before)
Lock might be good; personally I can't say anything for or against but my buddy does pvp a lot and he always uses his lock.
