you dont need a VPN. a vpn is complete overkill.
theres nothing bad about selling to Chinese, you run the same risks selling to them as you do anyone else. that they can take your gold and not pay you, or they can immediately report your account for gold selling, or get the account caught up in their gold making operations since you sold to them.

the risks are all the same, gold lost, money lost, account lost.
