If we all got banned today...

To be honest, this would be nice, since I just paid for a 30day sub..yesterday.. which was during the offtime.
 
Just dispute the charge via the credit card company or payment processor.

Yeah..I paid for 30 days sub as well like 5hrs before server was taking down now im banned as well
 
I dont want refund from ryftomate i just want an explaination , how is this possible we all got banned?
 
I was under the assumption that Hawker offered refunds contingent upon being unsatisfied with the product, am I not correct? Well if that's the case, I have just been banned and therefore am unsatisfied with the product and want my refund. Thank you.
 
Told you all the ban hammer was coming down hard. They have a new system in place that is red flagging

You knew what you were doing was against the ToS and that getting a ban was a possibility, just as I did. When you click the start button on the bot all responsibility is now in your hands. If you can't do the time, don't do the crime.
 
I am merely invoking a phrase that was stated by the developers themselves. I understand the risk, however unsatisfaction is unsatisfaction. It is the developers who should be careful before tossing such terms and phrases, not myself as the consumer, I am in my right to ASK for a refund.
 
basically, I botted and I got banned thats my fault. Nobody forced me to purchase or use Ryftomate.

I have enjoyed the game though, so will probably buy a new account and just play by hand. Something I have not done in Many MMOs in awhile. But was playing Rift by hand last night and was still enjoyable, I will just miss the Plat and Supplies I had gathered.

2nd this... i bought a year script so all u that bought a month be greatful?

I only care about getting my money back from trion, i dont mind supporting a 3rd party dev for something like this, and only hope that it furthers his free time in creating awesome bots for other games u choose to play in the furture...

people wanting refunds, on money that could be spent already is rude... half the reason alot of dev dont release bots to public... too many greedy people that only care for themselves and when something goes wrong they QQ till they get there way....

you bought it knowing u could get banned... go to a crack dealer and ask for a refund cause u got busted ... I AM SURE THE WOULD LOVE TO GIVE U MONEY BACK

You sir are stupid. We're paying customers for a product, we're not doing anything illegal so its only right for us to ASK. The decision is still on the dev themselves, so quit your rage nerd. If you went out and bought a pair of skates for this specific park but the parks closed for good therefore you have no use for product you JUST purchased, as consumers wouldnt you want a refund for it? you dumb shyt

for one yes botting is ILLEGAL.... you are doing something ILLEGAL upon terms u agreed to...

and for 2 a pair of skates arent solely usable at one park ... lol so ur reference made no sense and u fail

go read the fucking EULA for the game and tell me again your doing nothing illegal... people and thinking there ignorance makes it less illegal is stupid... if they really wanted... i am sure they could take you to court for agreeing to terms of service and violating them....

Look at Microsoft and people/shops selling pcs with the same keys... its against terms of service you YOU agreed to WHICH is ILLEGAL .... and you tell me good sir how many times has Microsoft lost in court arguing the facts of the obvious .... i am in no way justifying that this dont suck.... it does.... but for you to sit back and ask for your money back... FOR something YOU knew the risks of.... I believe somewhere on this site its even stated if you cant handle the risk DONT BOT .... its not the devs fault that Trion got sick of people spamming there shit with reports of all of our bots running so they got the upper hand...
 
Question: Is using Ryftomate cause for suspension/ban?

Answer: Yes, Ryftomate is against the Terms of Service as provided by Trion for Rift. If you are detected using Ryftomate, your account will be suspended or banned completely.

Question: Is Ryftomate detectable?

Answer: There are two methods of detection for Ryftomate or any other third-party tool:

1) The game itself detects the software by searching memory using a variety of scans. The current version of Ryftomate is not known to be detected by these methods. However, it is technically possible for Trion to change their detection scheme, if they come up with a new way to detect Ryftomate. This risk cannot be avoided, as the game client can update any time.

2) You can also be detected by a human observing you and noting repeated patrols, robotic behavior, etc. This can largely be avoided by always staying near your computer while gliding. Be careful to avoid areas with lots of obstructions and thoroughly test profiles before leaving the bot to work unattended. Unattended automated play is always risky and should not be done in busy areas for a long time and you should test any profile thoroughly before trusting it.
