I Use to use mangos Cores. Now I compile my own Trinity Cores. I use TDB.

Hello everyone,

imo a private server is not needed anymore, since you only do the hotspots, faction id's, vendor and stuff like that.

Even back in time when you had to do the mesh there was no private server needed.

/Flame Still good for messing around and using Say WI or admin to get places quicker to choose hotspots :P Love you syn
 
I can compile my own servers, that's not a problem, I just wanted some feedback on this. Also if you where doing a specific chain of quests in a certain order it would help to be able to turn 4 hours of questing into 14 minutes.
 
TBH I cant see anything you can do with a private server that you can't do with the program Edit Patrol, you just click on the map and it tells you all the co ords you need. Plus faction IDs and location of most herbs etc.
 
You should just set up your own Private Sever, takes 2 seconds :P

I always run mine up whenever I wanna create profiles. No one can deny it's a lot faster and easier with port/speed increases/flying to get around and scout out good farming locations compared to live.

It really is easy to set up a server and more efficiency than having to rely on someone keeping one up.
 
To be honest this is just talking about private servers to improve our HB profiles. I dont see the harm in that, but lets keep the technical talk about the actual illegal(!) emulator software out of it.
