I'd love to upgrade to GB Lifetime... But..

My bank closes my credit card everytime i try to add it in Paypal, which in other words means I cant pay for GB. Do i have to fly over to Germany to give Bossland the 55 euros? Is there an another way to pay this? I'm so sick of calling my bank all the time about this, and visiting that shithole just to open my card and get 3 more tries. And I know that you can transfer money to Paypal, but how? How does it work? I'm so close to desperation that I'm thinking about starting my own fucking bank. Any hints? Could anyone care to explain how to transfer funds to Paypal?
EDIT: Just to add, also. When i paid HB, I used my ex gf's paypal. ( Yes she agreed and gave me permission ).
 
Well, u can always add your bank account to your paypal, it should take around 3-5 days. Once it's done you should be able to pay ?! Well that's just an option =)
 
I'm relatively sure Bossland accepts 1st born children too!

Adding your bank account to Paypal is a simple process. if you've got an online management site for your bank account paypal deposit small amounts of money into the account, and to confirm that its your account you have to type them in on paypal, will take a few days to show up on your statement, if you dont verify your account this could be why its locking. if you cant get online to manage your account, get a printed statement in around 3 days time after adding the account on paypal or ring them, there pretty friendly.
 
I'm not 100 percent sure on this, but you could probably just go to walmart and purchase a prepaid visa gift card for the amount that you need and then transfer the funds from that onto your paypal. If you do decide to do this, put an extra few bucks on the card because I know that paypal likes to charge a certain percentage now.


BTW guys, this is my first post after lurking around here for a few weeks. New to hb but I love the program, and from what I have seen, I like the community too. Cheers from Florida!

Hi nexxy, in the paypal page there's an option to do a direct bank transfer.
You have to visit your local bank & obtain a fund transfer slip ( or something similar )
and then write in paypal's details, which can be obtained in your own paypal account.
The funds transfer will then be done within 5-7 working days.
(* Please note that most banks will charge you for a fee, but see-ing that you're kinda desperate i don't think you would mind)

Depending on your location ( in or out of town ) you might have, internet banking that supports paypal as well as atm funds transfer machine that specialises in doing such transfers.
Please note, before you configure your bank account to link immediately to paypal make sure that your bank account ( internet banking account )
supports paypal.

( In my case, my local banks do not allow direct linking of bank accounts to paypal, for fraud prevention. hence the only way was through debit or credit card ).

In another case, you might be interested to browse ur popular local online chat forums' marketplace to look to purchase paypal funds, google it for more info (nah im not selling lol)

And just being nosy, why does your bank close ur credit card after they approved it ? I mean isn't the card for you to use after they approve it? lol.

I have no clue why they keep closing my Credit Card. They close it for security reasons, called in today and they said that "We have improved our security measures" Well It does work hence i cant even make a payment. Also, I made a direct payment from my Bank account to paypal. We'll see if it works, I just took a blank shot and just made the payment. Readed Paypal's instructions. Also, I'm from finland, so. We do not have a "One time use Credit Cards" Like Walmart does, and I've heard that those Shoppers Paradise's only exist in the US. But well, I hope my money transfer reaches Paypal and i get the funds added to my Paypal account. If not, some retards spending my money out there. lol. But i could've asked Bossland his SWIFT / BIC etc to make a straight payment to his account with my Invoice in it. I have no interest in his personal life, Just would like to finally pay for the Lifetime. Been saving for it and all.

maybe it isnt your credit card? thats why they close it maybe they want proof that its yours? do u Have a Medius Credit card? then u need to show ur copy of id then its all good

Everything should be fine with the credit card. They just close it because of too many tries. And Paypal doesnt accept it.

This basically has nothing to do with HB. It's about me not being able to pay via credit card etc problems. I thought of posting it there but it's not generally a HB Payment problem. Is this in the wrong section still tho? I was kinda asking for solutions and ideas of "how-to", So i decided that this should be more relative to "General". I've now made a payment though to Paypal and looks like I need to give it a few days. If the money does not go to my Paypal Account i will post on the Payment section, It's very odd tho that my card gets closed everytime i try to even add it in Paypal. Even World Of Warcraft's payment system rejects the card and it gets closed. I'm able to pull money from a wall with the card though. The internet payment from my bank is also enabled so I really cant see what's basically the real problem. But I really hope the Bank -> Paypal transaction works. Thanks everyone for your ideas though, gave me more open doors.
 
i told you that cause Bossland is tracking payments section
and maybe(with his experience on payment system) has got a solution/advice/idea or something
 
Seems like my 61e payment has been succesful, I now have 50e on my paypal account + I got my card attached. Yay! ^^
