I will ask until I get an answer. As a paying customer we have that right.

This.

You can't expect someone who pays to save time to invest time to learn to code in order to save time. That's some kind of mindfuck.

This said :Ok, the two weeks have passedand the "official" plug ins are not out yet, but the bot has gone a long way in the past month. Especially in term of available plug ins.

What concerns me most is that Out still beeing alone on the project will always have something else to update / fix instead of dumbing down the bot for the average person. Which means that the pluggins will always be made by the community and be either half assed and free or a bit better and paid almost the same price as the bot liscence. Plus in both case it means trusting an external person to actually support / update / fix the plug in.

You seem to not be able to read. Community made plugin are the things that turn into Official plugins. They always have done.

I can read. Although it seems I'm terrible at expressing myself.

I'll take two examples to mark my point :

- WoW. Honnorbuddy is the best bot there is because the "community" is extensive both in sheer number of player and in age/type of players. This extensive community has made numerous things and made Honnorbuddy some kind of "plug and play" bot.

- FF14. Community is much smaller. There's only one dev and he's spending his time adjusting the bot to the numerous updates of the game instead of dumbing down the bot (rings a bell?). The two big guys who devellopped things for the community became tired of doing things that should be done on your side and quit develloping for the "community". Result (as of three months ago when I switched to a competitor of yours): a year after the release, Rebornbuddy still couldn't be trusted to grind mobs 5 levels lower than a max level and stuffed DPS toon without dying every ten minutes or so because there isn't an acceptable combat routine ! The whole bot was nothing but a mining / harvesting machine.

EDIT : Oh, and guess what Mashtag said ? "Give it a couple of week, we have a strong community, they will deliver" (rings a bell?)

just to comment a bit. The bots from here are the best I have ever seen. But at the very beginning the wow bot was also not that good. Many errors etc. Give them a little time and you will see it even becomes better. I mean questing is near perfect and also setting the farm items make this bot worth .............
Please go on with your good work
cheers,

The questing bot does what it needs to do but doesn't do it well. It is so incredibly easy to tell it's a bot and you are stuck to a very limited skillset which makes it even worse. It is nowhere near perfect and is the number one cause of bans in this forum.

All I hear in this thread is mainly the sound of sniffling noses and puffy eyes. Think you could stop demanding? Once again no one held a gun to your head and forced you to buy a full license. Pretty sure that's why they off 3 day trial keys.

Then let me help you there with your hearing: not saying bot is bad. It is not. It has potential. I am having an issue with Buddy Staff, their lack of devotion to the product they decided to market as their own.

You can call it whining. I call it feedback. If I am someone making my living selling a certain type of product, I would like to know why a 4-year returning customer is gonna stop buying my product. I had (and still have) several Buddy products, and would prolly own several more in future if my faith in them didn't shatter with ArcheBuddy. I am just letting developers know what are they (in my eyes) doing wrong.

Before you say I am noob that can't use bot, I'll have you know that bot is working flawlessly for me: altho i had to make everything on my own, i had trade cart trade run plugin made as soon as Out posted how to stash packs in carts, i had Lazy Raider-like routines up and running the very first day i got the bot, i have dungeon assist plugin that helps me do dungeons (targets adds, runs to safe zones on boss events, picks up stuff to wake up teammates), i had scarecrow loop and hidden farm planting before any were posted on this forum.

All of the above took me no more than a day of work each. And by day of work i mean morning of thinking of an idea while riding bus and 2 hours of coding after. How can I not feel disappointed that no one from "developer team" took that little time to make basic stuff for people they are SELLING THEIR BOT TO? They are EXPECTING community to provide plugins for them but they ADVERTISE it even before any of those are made

Bot is good. API is Godlike. But I feel I've been treated like a sheep. So yes I am gonna voice my concerns not because I want anyone to make anything better for me, but because I am a customer they just lost and I want them to know why.

Feedback is more constructive then this thread. The subject line of the thread alone shows and sets the general tone for the whole thread. Then one person band wagons and another and another. Then you get a thread where you are all whining. That's not just me calling it that. That's what it is.

It's petty sniffling crying. So if you want to give "feedback". Think of a civil well thought out way to express your thoughts, then put it in a format that doesn't sound like demands and just blatant anger. Also telling the dev team how bad they are at doing their job isn't constructive. It's just not.

So YOU call it what you want, and I will call it what it actually is.

You derailing the topic? Because that's exactly what it is.

Ok having spoken with out the term Supported is in reference to the API/Framework currently Supporting it.

The Idea of this bot and like Honorbuddy for example is that the base stuff is community driven and then streamlined into the bot.

Currently Out is hard working the bugs out of the Framework and adding new requested API Methods.

For example the questing 1 - 30 is a great example of what now is an Official plugin for it.

So the 1-30 questing is an official plugin? Is Samolka an official dev then? Should all of our issues be posted in the official support thread for this plugin? Does this mean this plugin will be completed and never sold for money? That was the original plan if I remember right.

Is the fact that the term Supported being in reference to the API/Framework because Out can't be bothered to code what the bot says it comes with? Because once again this is like saying a phone supports making phone calls, but you have to code the software to make it do so. Saying something is supported would mean it's already there, the terminology should state that the API supports PVE and PVP combat. In it's current wording it is misleading.

Also what is the word on more devs on this project like Bossland said would be happening. And how is no official support for PVE/PVP combat working in with is 1-click mantra that he said he want's to see happen?

Also I see the store is up but only has the option for a plugin that you are already forced to have in the download. Does this mean it's going to be opened soon for people to sell their plugins for money even though the bot is not functional for everyone?

And while I'm asking does the AB section get to ignore the section in the forum rules found here that talks about "V-P-N or pr0xies" since you know, they are built into the bot yet are a perma-bannable offense.

Are the threads such as.
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/arche...lugins/grinding/181474-universal-fight-8.html
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/arche...ing/179164-plugin-grindage-farmers-dream.html
https://www.thebuddyforum.com/arche...ing/180138-plugin-enhanced-trade-run-bot.html

Allowed even though they are advertising a plugin that is not on the forums or in the store. And if the AB team is in fact going to follow what bossland stated about "I'd like to make the bot functional for everyone, grow the community and only then we can think about opening the Store for Archebuddy. "

Just a list of questions since you are paying attention to my thread right now. Thank you.

I 100% purchased this bot due to the Buddy name.

There's a 3 day trial license for a reason. Maybe you should do more research and play it safe with a 3 day trial next time. I don't buy products in real life just because of their brand name. If you don't like a buddy product you bought solely on the name. Go look in the mirror and blame that guy.

I am currently running on 3 day licenses until the bot gets some bugs hammered out. I use it solely for trade runs while I sleep. It does what I want and at $1.36 USD I find it very affordable.

to be honest, answering all the OPs questions is probably not even that worth it. I'm sure OUT makes more on the given time he would take to respond.

so many questions, sounds more of a job interview to me than a one time paying customer.

Just pay for this awesome bot or get the shortest 'trial' fee, omg.

well to be honest the questing plugin worth of what i paid so far got me to level 30 while i am not even near PC
as i remember Bot job is to level you up i know its 1~33 now but give them time they are missing 17 level i am sure they gonna manage to add that in few days
i managed to make my own plugin easy just little time and patience
Sorry for my bad English and i hope you accept my opinion

I just read through all this, which answered one of my questions I had

personally I like how AB is becoming, It's constantly updated and I love how it has an editor and compiler built in.

Although AB's Success comes in no small part to Coders that create custom plugins to run through AB, its Those guys that make AB what It could be, and Dev's like Out who Create the framework for them to create their plugins.
Granted for $36 for a single account or $87 (AUD) for three accounts I would expect more, but it hasn't been out for long, and I'm Happy paying for 3 day's or 1 month to get things that I want done before waiting for more to be released.

Those that release plugins or plugin code for free "You Da Real MVP"
