I want to start T1 rift, but I need to farm and raise stats, where do I begin?

once you get to level 70 try to get a legendary equip into each slot from chest farming.
On all the equips you want to have your main stat.
For weapon + chest piece + pants, socket is mandatory

A legendary in every slot is enough to clear T1 if you have the proper build for your equips
once you have a legendary in every slot, you start looking to upgrade your gear.

on amulet you want elemental % damage, primary stat, crit chance, crit damage, and socket if you want to use a legendary gem.
the stats you want on rings are somewhat dependant on your build, but try to get a Stone of Jordan With elemental damage% + crit damage.
for gloves you want primary stat + crit chance + damage, same with bracers if possible.

just having vitality + main stat on every other piece of equipment will bring u up into the higher levels of torment

As you progress on with better gear you simply raise the difficulty normal<hard<expert<master<torment1,2,3..n. Most of the level 70 legendaries drops right from normal. The goal is just to get better gear to hit torment 1 and eventually torment 6.

How would I know what gears to get? I am currently on T2 now with a set I found on youtube.
Now, the chest farm, does it drop sets or legendary? Seems like everyone is building around sets?

Diablo is a game you need to have patience, you won't be running T6 in 2 days or anything even manually playing 24/7.

Keep doing bounties and rifts on the highest difficulty you can.

What's the best way to obtain the Unity ring? Chest farming or rifts or bounty?
