I tried the simple follow and auto follow too, but someting wrong my english a little rusty i need the host character and the follower character setup.
Pls anybody help me.
Make sure both DB folders have the same updated zAutoFollow plugin enabled.
On the Leader open the zAutoFollow plugin (on DB main console window, Plugins is to the right of InfoDumping) and make tick "zAutoFollow" then open the plugin and change to "Server". Leave the follower alone in this regard.
Set the Leader to C:\DB\Profiles\Adventurer\ "what ever you want Leader to do".xml
Set the Leecher to C:\DB\Plugins\zAutoFollow\FollowerCombat.xml
Start the two D3 windows and have Leader manually invite the Leecher to game.
Now start both DB clients.
Start the Leader first then Leecher. It can take a bit of time to get them in rhythm. But by doing this they will couple up and work nicely.
This is working when im tried own pc with 2 character, but dont working when im the leader and my friend join to me from an other pc ( from other city...) What do u think, why?

Autofollow doesn't work by stealing information from the D3 Server to find where a friendly unit or leader is. It works by one copy of the bot sending it's whereabouts to another copy of the bot.
They might appear to be moving and acting independently... Yet the individual bots are using their combat settings when enemies are near, and use the leader's position combined with your autofollow settings to tell them where they are supposed go be on the map.
In short, you and your friend would have to both be using demonbuddy and figure out how to get information shared between the bots across the internet. If you look through the entire AutoFollow thread there are people posting about it. I am not an expert on that, I just wanted to let you know it takes special setup steps and both people using bots to make it happen.
With D2 you can go in LAN mode and connect in private game between two computers in two different countries.
All you have to know is your Public or Outside IP and your Private or Inside IP to share between the two people that want to connect.
zAutoFollow has the place to add an outside IP. Getting it to work may be just joining up in same party and in game.
Always make sure you both have the same updated versions of Trinity and zAutoFollow.
Also both have same versions of Beta or Finished DB. It may not be necessary, but it does make a big difference in connecting!
I cannot connect on my own computer with two or more if I have different versions.
