I haven't been playing WoW lately but i come back and visit the forums every so often especially to get updates on all the legal stuff going on.. When i visited today everyone is freaking out about something about PvP. I tried searching through dozens of pages but i can't seem to find the original statement by the developers that started all this commotion..

I would appreciate if someone could paraphrase whats going on or even better link me to the post that started all of this!

You won't be able to use HB in arena anymore.

How can you not find it if you looked through the pages? There is like 5-7 threads about it :p

They disabled arena, so if you enter arena with the bot started, it will shutdown. You used to be able to use Combat Routines in arenas but after the banwave they thought they would try to disable arena to take less focus from blizzard, and hopefully not get another banwave anytime soon.
 
Ahh I gotcha. They were selling pvp CR's?? I always thought they were free to use weird..

No they didn't add an arena bot and take it away, but like I said it used to be able to load in arenas and used in arenas, just not supported. Some CR's were created and sold with the arena use in mind, though not specifically stated to my knowledge, and now people are mad that they can't use their paid CR's for their "intended" use.

Well, it is understandable though, some have paid over 100 euro worth of CRs to be used in arenas. Anti-arena botters can point fingers all they want about "not needing CR for arena", but we're all on the same boat here: cheating is cheating. Whether you use it for leveling up, raiding or PVE, or achievements. Where can you draw a line?
