PS you dont need to be in a raid to zone into bwl or MC, but like OP said he was in outlands so sure it was gm

yes but to get into bwl you need to click a small orb, the odds of the bot finding its way from outlands, through brm, up that small tunnel and clicking it by accident? i'd say 0

seen a few pics of people being teleported to stratholme in the past but never bwl, eitherway if they had hard evidence then you'd be banned now, i'd still bot but just keep a little eye on it for awhile

They dont port you that far. Usually they will port you to some place in the same zone where its tricky to get out if you're not a player.
and yes its true, I've seen it happen and talked to the GM who just game me a slap on the wrist and said "well dont do that anymore, its against the rules".
5minutes later I was botting again

However nowadays the bot is detectable, its some filter that has to do with either online time, gathered per hour, loots per hour or something like that. Or all together. And once you get stuck in the filter, you get a ban and then u appeal.
This is when the bot is detectable, if they actually investigate why you got banned by the automatic filter they can pull up your individual logs and see that you were running a bot.

Before one of my characters got banned (was farming herbs/mines in Uldum) my character kept getting ported around to different locations in Uldum, I was watching it go to a node, it was then ported a few yards back from the node and I couldn't move the character, thus the bot was going crazy trying to get to this node!

a few minutes later, disconnected from server - tried to login, this wow account has been closed..

Moral of the story - GM's do screw with you like this so i'd be wary
