You paid for the privileged to piece of software. There was no guarantee of 99.999% up time. In my case I have a lifetime account, so when ever Honorbuddy is back - it's back =D

How do you fire someone that works for free and does their own bots/plugins to work with HB? for example Professionbuddy is not really a HB bot, and many quest fails because behaviors do, behaviors first made by unpaid voulenteers, sure Apoc could fix them, but that would require permission from the voulenteers to do so. most off the failing behaviors is not in the hands of Apoc or any other HB developer to fix, sadly.

Unfortunately, we can't help that some developers are just plain lazy, and don't want to update their stuff to work with the new API changes. We've been working very hard to keep most things backwards-compatible, and have. We had to reorganize quite a few things, because they were simply out of place, or didn't belong somewhere. (Eg; why was QuestFrame in the "Inventory" namespace. Stuff like that made no sense) We figured with the new xpac, was the best time to do a mass cleanup so we (hopefully) won't have to touch it again.

As far as questing goes, QuestBot does work fine 99.9% of the time. Some quests do require some extra attention now, due to Blizzard changing how things worked (this is why we originally added the ability to "override" a quest objective, in the off-chance that the bot doesn't get it right by using what WoW gives us). Unfortunately, Kick is moving house, so he's not around to update his profiles.

AutoEquip will be getting fixed either today, or tomorrow. I need to go through and update all the inventory slot stuff, for the new changes. (No more relics, thrown weapons, etc)

I don't want to be a dick but in my world you can give an answer like this to the lead developer or to a project manager but not to a customer.

I dont know what Bot your using then Apoc because mine runs like a three legged retarded pig, I agree with the original post , this Bot is way overdue being a finished product, i for one have shown patience but you are starting to take the piss to be honest. As for blaming developers can you blame them doing sod all because everytime the update their work you release another update that completely fkks them up again. I think Dev crew seriously needs to pull their fingers out here as this is simply not a good enough service for paying customers.

That is; unless you've bought this bot more then a month ago. If you did then you got what you payed for at that time and should count yourself damn lucky that the makers of this fine piece of software continuously update it.

I've been running Grind bot all day and it works utterly flawlessly with the default CC. If you want more I suggest you grow some patience.

BGbuddy been working for me for over a week already and running it now too, works flawless.
Theres no problems with gathering
Grinding works good too from what i've used grind profiles so far.
Questing also works fine enough for my needs only need to assist a bit.

Myself im happy with current state of hb, it could be better but fills my needs.

Ok, blame it on the lazy devs, but don't advertize it anymore if it doesn't work, and don't act like it works when it doesn't. It makes you seem like you haven't run a character in WoW for several months if you think this stuff all works. Many of the questing issues mentioned by Kyvari were broken long before 5.0.4 If it's user built, and you don't want to fix it, then don't advertize it. Otherwise, it's false advertizement.

I have to agree with the OP. I'm seriously thinking of canceling my WoW membership until the devs fix the bot. The current status is unbelievably unreliable compared to what it was this summer.

Croga, get your head out of the sand! This bot is broken, and it has been brooken for over 4 weeks. I doubt that you even grind AFK for more than a few minutes at a time. Nothing can be done AFK anymore. It is not even a matter of getting caught if you walk away. It is the fact that the bot will break and waste your leveling time if you walk away. Anyione who denies this is not a botter and probably does not even have an active WoW account!

To bad gw2 will be dead within a short period of time, and as far as i've heard its dieing already.
The pvp will never be up to WoW's standards, the questing is a bit alright, but there isn't much competative gameplay in gw2.
They are trying to make the game better then WoW, but it would need years developing and fixing to even come close. WoW has been online for several years and was good on release. I played gw2 2 days before the release, it was fun I admit but it got boring really quickly.
SWTOR is as good as gone as well.

You complain about the bots not working how you want it, why don't you help the community - Post bug reports, post what specificly is wrong and contribute to the community.
I'm completely satisfied with hb right now, BG botting is working fine, I didnt have any problems 80-85 quest botting as well. Now i'm just enjoying my way to 90. If you're threatening to quit wow because of a bot not working then you are not playing for the gameplay or fun of the game.

I've played WoW off and on ever since it's initial release date. I wish I could say I have my original account and characters, but they got wiped out by the gliderbot ban wave. Merc (the gliderbot owner) kept claiming that he didn't get hit by the ban wave. He was obviously lying through his teeth and trying to keep subscribers. Honorbuddy is beginning to smell a whole lot like Wowglider with all of these people claiming it works when most of us know it does not. The owner called his volunteers "LAZY" right here in this thread. I'm guessing there is more going on behind the scenes, and it is not productive. The HB bot is broken. It has been broken for over 4 weeks. There is no promise or guarantee that it will ever work again, just a ton of fingerpointing and name calling. From where I sit, it looks bad for the future of WoW botting. Nothing ever compared to HB, but it has been a team effort and the team seems to be disbanded or at least lacking proper motivation and proper leadership. I'm not saying that the owner is a bad leader, I"m just saying that the current method is evidently not working. Calling his team members "LAZY" on a public forum is not going to motivate those guys to do anything constructive.

I bought both when they were new. TOR was by the far the worst of the games I've bought near release. Guild Wars 2 PvP is good, but the PvE is dreadfully boring, don't like the mechanics a whole lot or weapon swapping. Diablo III is probably most enjoyable to play out of the bunch, RMAH is terrible for the game's economy and players besides those that botted from the get go, above all there is little reply value in the game.

Once questing gets fixed completely it should be much smoother for all since it's the fastest way to level. The only reason it's so problematic right now is because ItemForAura needs a lot of updating.

I apreciate the work that went into making this great bot it gave me so much gold extra real money in my pocket and alot of nice things in game and I havent had to dedicate non of my personal time to this its did it alone..Even my mists of pandaria expansion cost me 50k NO CASH I LOVE it..

If one day it ends completly im I simply wont play no more.. That just my personal thoughts
