I got scamed outa $500

but now so many douchebags are simply using "unauthorized transaction" bullshit to scam people, its stupid

Not sure why people keep saying send as a gift. IT STILL CAN BE REVERSED! All the person has to do is call and say someone used their account without their authorization and paypal will pull it back. Sending in as a gift only prevents them from filing a dispute or chargeback. If they "claim" unauthorized use, then your screwed.

so to people who say that sending as gift can still be reversed, what is a better solution to prevent such scams? Donations options? Or changing a better resource eg western union, moneybookers etc,.
really interested to know .. i got scammed too before over such stuffs with paypal .. sigh

1) where did you find them
2) did you had to trade their lvl 80s or just a lvl 1 trade account for the gold
3) did you make them to send you an email - so you can compare the email sent and the paypal account ( scamming a paypal account doesnt mean that the scammer als has acceess to the email box of the scammed person)

4) paypal can reverse payments up to 6 months after the payment was done ( paypals contract with CC companies )

i just sold 115k for $435 and another lot of 20k for $80(2 seperate servers and players) and then paypal reveresed it because they said the account was authorised by someone else. This sucks i needed that $500 and paypal siad they cant do shit i rang them and everything. Is there another online bank that is better to use? or another payment method?

435$/115= 3.78$.

Come on guys if the deal is that good at the moment you can rest assured its BS and you will get scammed.

Have them use moneybookers(.com)

Registering takes 2-5 mins and they can pay through their bank account, ebanking (direct) or Creditcards... disputes NOT possible

$ 3.78 / 1k for private buyers is not really BS, chinese do more than 100 % profit on sales, buy for 1.70 sell for $3.5+
