so i'm sure a lot of you guys remember the huge banwave in may if i recall, they got my main account with swift spectral tiger etc, lost it they told me i got caught using honorbuddy for battlegrounds, after 6 months i got it back but i havent had time to play until now, im super excited to get back into the game but i had a few questions for you guys, im a ranged-caster player but for me to play my melee characters i use raid bot, is it okay to use HB for raids & battlegrounds at this time? or is there a big chance ill get caught again?

sorry to be asking such a dumb question but i did a little of research thru the forums and didn't find a concrete answer, i was wondering if bossland has managed a new version of HB like the one we had before that we only got caught if we abused it, is it still like that or is there a way bigger chance of getting caught even if you only use it for raids and battlegrounds, thanks in advance i miss this forums, you guys were great back then hoping ya still are!

There was another banwave just a week ago, so don't use hb ever again on the account u dont want to lose.
 
Here are just a few possibilities of what I think is possible

1 – Bot and get banned (eventually).
2 – Don’t bot and don’t get banned.

If you are anything like me you will have fun botting and buying new accounts to bot when you get banned. End of story.
 
hey dude i just wanted to ask did they delete your gold? so far on my main account i got banned i used hb for pvp gear so far i have everything from checking the wowarmory.

Dude botting with Honorbuddy will get you banned sooner or later. No matter what you do. Everyone -will- get banned. They found a way to detect Honorbuddy that is for sure. People can deny and defend as much as they want but Blizzard will keep doing these banwaves every 6 or 7 months. So once you start up the bot, you dont even have to bot on the said account. As soon as you start HB while your account is logged in to. You will get flagged and banned in a few months. Botting with honorbuddy is just suicide botting since May. They got us. So don't waste your time and money unless you want to lose your account again. Possibly for 18 months or permanent this time.

Seriously? I keep checking my armory and I have all my gold and gear. I want to note that I did not make any gold using the bot and used only the AH I made over 700k from only the ah. I am very curious to know if they will delete it even though i have proof i made it all using TSM.

This is a lie...

Honorbuddy is detected, I guarantee you that you will get your account banned again for 18month if you use just a combat routine. Look through the ban report more than half are just useing combat routines whilst you move the toon.

I had an 6 day old account banned just for this, that all I did.

DO NOT BOT ON THAT ACCOUNT if you want to see your Spectral Tiger again... End of!!!

Last time they took all the gold. This time they said gold and gear.
 
really? i still have everything but as the guy before said they wait to delete your stuff. idk i dont really care what they delete as long as i keep my tiger and glorious set.

Except that hundreds, if not thousands of people got banned for this very thing in May and again a week ago.

There is no 'safest way'- just using rotations (without interrupts or CC), never in PVP, not telling a soul, and purposefully keeping myself in mid-range rankings, and doing every other 'safe' thing people will tell you to do, and I still got caught in May. If you bot, it's not a matter of 'if' it's a matter of 'when'.
 
Mounts are binded to the Battle.net account. If your licence (WoW1, WoW2, ...) is banned you can buy a new licence. And your mounts will be available on the new licence. I have two licences banned on my Battle.net account and i still have achievement, mounts, heirlooms,...
