I feel so violated... lost 1/6,, now 2/6

came home and found 1 of 6 at the log in screen trying to make a game,, banned... sigh...
was running 20ish hours a day on act3 champ runs, started right after the dec18 destruction.

one thing i find interesting tho... for the most part, i only buy instore copies,, this account tho i bought online at go2arena... the only one banned.... hmmmm

sigh,,

i need a hug :(

Did you protect your bots with VP/VM?
 
i dont use any extra programs like reloggers/vm ect.

i run 2 laptops with 2 bots each, and 1 desktop with 2 d3 bots (1 now,,sigh) and 1 wow bot.

out of all 6 bots,, they nailed the "lucky" one,, that monk pulled 2 items that sold for 500+ mill each,, rip lootmonkey
 
no,, i dont sell the big items on the bots,, just the stuff under 5mill or so.

i transfer all items to 1 bot,, then log in a storage mule, transfer all the gems/tomes/interesting items,, then log out the bot and log in my main selling account and transfer items. that way my main selling account never meets my bots

You do all this from the same PC? Same IP? No V.P.N.?
 
no,, i have my collecting bot on my pc,, collects all the goodies off of the laptop bots and the other pc bot. i log in my laptop mule to collect from it, that way my mule only ever meets 1 bot total. log off all bots then log in my main on the pc, transfer items and gold.
this way if blizz wants to nuke my main selling account, they will have to actually do some work to find it.

my 2 laptops and main pc are connected to a router and thats it. i dont use any ***/vm/relloggers ect.

interestingly,, the account that was nuked was my collecting bot. they must not have looked at the account because my other bots are fine. it was not the oldest account but it was the only one that was not a physical cd key bought from a store. it was purchased online from go2arena. im thinking that could be the cause? going forward i will only use store bought box games.

guess i have been pretty lucky so far,, think only 5 accounts total lost since i started 5 mnths ago. only in the last 2 mnths have i run more than 2 bots tho....

dont want to jinx it,, but i am thinking of building another pc and running 4 more,, total of 10
 
dammit dammmit dammmmit... just lost the second bot account on my main pc,, laptops are fine atm.

game crashed with the report error to blizz box up,, restarted comp asap and tryed to log back in,, banned....

btw all bots are...err were.. running act3 big red

Keys from our store are taken out from the boxes. I don't think that's the problem.

Why would go2arena have a rep posting on bot forums? Are we your target demographic? And you physically take keys out of retail boxes to sell?

I wasn't sure about you guys before. Now I'm definitely sure I'll never get my keys from there lol.
 
Theres a lot of gold sellers/key sellers/wow raf etc people on these forums, go2arena is pretty good on prices and nice convenience of cd keys being emailed to ya..
 
Just curious, can you ping a computers IP from a forum post? Like say Blizzard is watching over the DB forums, can they find the users IP from a server post and ping that in D3 and verify botting then ban? Might be stupid, just curious.

Only mods/admins can view IP's posted from.
