I don't understand anything!

So, I bought Honorbody which was a tad more logical than I'm experiencing Gatherbuddy to be. I seriously don't understand ANYTHING. I am CLUELESS.

I open the software and I want to load an already made path, the one listed in the Gatherbuddy forums in regards to grinding Un'goro crater for mining pods. I don't understand how to load it. I have read through the official guides and I simply DO NOT understand. It's completely incomprehensible to me. It says something about having to access a website? Why? I don't understand.

All I wanted to do is to run the Ungoro_Thorium_v2.xml file I downloaded but there is no concieveable way to do it. I try to click 'Start botting' but nothing happens. No function. Nothing.

It is EXTREMELY frustrating to feel THIS stupid.

Help is much appreciated!
 
You download the profile from the forums and then upload it here; http://auth.gatherbuddy.de

Once uploaded close down that page and open wow and the bot, hit refresh and then in the drop down list you will see the profile you just uploaded.
 
No one expects you to understand, that's why there are guides :)

As far as I understand, you are loading GB profiles into HB.
 
I just want to make a note here that I am in NO way saying that I'm not satisfied with the bots or the hard work you guys do on the bot and maintaining the forums. I am just very sad at the frustration level I am reaching because I can't figure it out on my own and I don't understand the guides either. So just thanking you guys for your hard work and for helping me out. :)

Synik; WHY do I have to do that? I simply don't understand the purpose of uploading something to a website so that I can run the program and start it. I simply do NOT understand why?
 
You have to do it because that is how it is, there is no other way round it.

Oh I wasn't going to try to bypass it. Was just mere curiosity.

I think the reason you need to upload the file to a site is because GB it portable (ie usable from any computer with an internet connection, without the need to carry profiles around with you).

You need to upload the profile online then when you run GB it will find the profile and be available from the GB software. Kinda unusual method, but works pretty well.

Step by step

upload profile online
run wow
run GB
profile will now be available to you
run GB
Reap copious amounts of mats = gold

hmm, had a few beers, I guess it could be explained a bit better than I have achieved
