hey i dont post often im not mad upset ext that the bot is down i realize that it takes time but i think that it would ease alot of our minds if we had updates as to the progress i mean make a twiter and let us know whats going on every few hours untill then ill continue to refresh the page and hope it changes from the last 100 times it was refreshed. anyone else think this would be a good idea?
 
honestly no i wouldnt like to see that. a thread would suffice. your asking for the devs to stop working and further impede the updating of the bot you all love to tell us how things are going? yeah every day or every other day would be nice. but be patient we dont need to be bothering the devs just to give us the peace of mind that it still isnt ready yet.

So watcha saying is that if your pikachu was hurt and is in the hands of nurse joy, you would not like an update on how your pikachu is doing?
 
I think a scrolling banner on top of the main page would do wonders. Doesn't have to have a lot of info, just "HB is currently down, updating in progress" and when new versions are released "HB ver. 5.xxxx" released as of May xx, 2013". Not a lot if info but it is exactly the info I am looking for every day when I check out the site before I start botting to make sure I have the most current stuff. :)
 
i agree malice211 but back to you zacho96 it doesnt have to be twiter i just thought that would be a fast fix its 2013 everyone has a smart phone takes all of 2 seconds

That's right, like what it takes not even a minute to update a status on twitter or somthing you know. Maybe they should have a dedicated facebook account to update stuff. I mean i don't mind refreshing the page at all, but the fact that it seems like they are sorta behind on the social networking stuff.
 
I am going to Twitter atm to see how many software companies are twitting about their Devs upgrading software......

when making this post it was not intended for a place for "old timers" to have fun with noobs it was a suggestion to the devs and a question to the other botters in the community thank you for your input botanist

i dont have a problem with twitter lol im simply saying anytime they divert to keep us updated is time they could be working on the bot
 
screw social media. go the heck to sleep and happily bot your lil head off tomorrow. like myself :)
 
Thats all a waste of time since we'll only be able to download the new bot once its up and working.
