HWID different PC question

So if I got banned on my laptop but have a desktop, can I but a new copy and play on my desktop? How does it all work?

Most likely, yes, but don't ESP on the new one or you risk another ban

HWID means Hardware ID so it identifies all the hardware components in your PC or in your case your laptop and gives it a unique identification number which could be blocked by blizzard.
Nobody is sure now if blizzard is using HWID bans or just ban your account.

So far its only account bans. Currently playing on another new account and its the on same PC.

See I've heard/read that people have bought new copies on new accounts and gotten immediately banned.

And have they provided any proof? They most likely were still hacking also.

Banned today, got a new account on the same PC, didnt ESP with it of course, and so far so good.
