Hello ppl
First: This Plugin is under development. So if things don't work properly, just let me know and I'll try to fix it.

Please use the New Plugin:
Rare Killer - All in one Rare Mob Plugin

This Plugin will help you to tame rare mobs for your hunter.
If your WOW notices a searched Mob, this Plugin will take control over your toon and flys or walks to the Mob and tame him. The Plugin also plays a sound if found a wanted mob.

Possible settings for hunted Mobs:
? Default Mobs
? Hunt by ID (you give him a ID and he will tame all Mobs with this ID he founds)
You can enable both of them at the same time

Implemented Behavior:
? The Bot will not try to tame Mobs whose Level is higher then yours
? He will retry to tame if the Mob interupts you
? If your Health falls under 10% he will use Feigh Dead
? He only tries to tame a Mob if your Health is over 30%
? It will do Nothing if your Char is no Hunter
? He will only try to tame alive and tameable Mobs
? He will dismiss your active Pet before tame another one so you can camp a mob with active pet

Implemented Default Mobs:
? Ghostcrawler (Hint: for him you need livetime or flying plugin because of the Movement in Vashjir)
? Jadefang (You have to camp him in his cave because the bot can't go there)
? Karoma
? Madexx (all Colors)
? Terrorpene
? Loque'nahak
? Sambas
? Aotona
? Skoll
? Gondria
? Arcturis
? King Krush
? Nuramoc
? Goretooth

How to use:
1. Make sure your Hunter has one free slot to tame another beast
2. Make sure you have the latest version of Honorbuddy
3. Extract the ZIP in your HonorBuddy/Plugins folder and enable it
4. Config the Plugin with the Config Window and press Save.

5. For GB2 and Grindbot you need a Profile to run the Bot. A Profile is not included in these Plugin.

Please Notice:
I only could test this Plugin with my little Hunter Level 15. For him it works fine.
I really need feedback if this Plugin is working correct all the time or not.

New Version 1.2 (31.03.2011): Some Plausichecks for GUI and more Rare Pets per Default

Next Steps - Beside some Bugfixing:
? Implement, that the Tamer Part will check if there is a free Slot before try to tame a Beast. And beside this, implement all the other Tameable Rare Mobs

very cool, think someone was requesting this a while back im sure this plugin will get allot of use
 
can you make him use freezing trap before he tame the pet it will be perfect :)
 
Don't know, if this is possible, because freezing trap had to placed on the ground.
But I will take a look if i could realize this. Is there a Hunter CC existing which uses Freezing Trap, then I could take a look at the Source Code.
 
OK.. put this in my hunters pool of plugins... will let you know how it works out. got a few slots open just incase it works :)

Yep I agree.. mine went nuts cause another hunter had a rare pet in org. Had to disable it for awhile. Maybe a check to see if pet is tamed or something along those lines.?
 
I can confirm the addon does work........just tamed madexx (red) using the profile I uploaded and this plugin. On a side note......I noticed the plugin try to tame several players pets........perhaps there is some way to check if the rare has already been tamed?

Edit : Just noticed your above comment concerning other players pets....will DL the new version.

Isn't releant, this just means missed a Configfile and loads the Defaults.
If you have saved once this warning disapears
 
Not only did you make a superb plugin that got me the TLPD. You make another amazing plugin to help my hunter. :D Thank you +rep
 
i dont need this addon as ive gotten lucky with all these pets but you should add King Krush to the list. Hes the rarest of the rares IMO>

Just gimme the Names of them (and if you want to make it easy to me also the ID)
I will upload a new Version in 2 Days and implement every Rare you want ;).

Before I add every single rare Pet, I will look if I can implement, that the Plugin only tames a new Beast, if he has a Slot free, to save our toons from maybe running wild because of every Rare they see. Till that, I will only implement your mostwanted really really Rares and all the others could also be hunted by ID if you want them.
 
If both TRKiller and TTamer are on at the same time, e.g. going for TLPD but detects a tamable rare, will it kill or tame the rare?
 
After I have my archaeology mount I will so be using this.

Thought I'd let you know about the way NPCSpawn works in regards to hunters having tamed a pet. Each pet is assigned a location, and if that pet is found in another location, it's assumed a tamed pet.

For example, finding Terrorpene in orgrimmar obviously is a pet. Finding Terrorpene in Mount Hyjal is probably the mob. It works really well. You may have already done this/known this, but thought I'd say just incase.

Hmmm which Addon works first, it's 50/50 yet. But most of the Tameable Rares arn't in the List of Rarekiller. I only know Jadefang which is in both default lists. I would enable Rarekiller, if you systematic want to hunt a Pet. And I will integrate the Tamer in the Rarekiller with one of the Next Versions and then I can make an option to choose if you want to tame or kill.

With HB its easier to find out if a Mob is a Pet. It's just a : "if(Mob.IsPet) doNothing;" ;) And it is already implemented.
Also Terrorpene shouldn't be a Problem because I work only with MobIDs. However if there are any Problems please let me know.
