How to setup this bot.

Bot type: Grindbot

Latest Version 0.4
Latest Version always on SVN!

Features:

  • -Vendor: Yes
  • -Mailbox: Yes
  • -Random Hotspots: No
  • -Multi Vendors/MailBox: No
  • -SVN: Yes, look at the bottom of the thread.


Settings:

Mount:

  • -Use mount: Ticked
  • -Flying Mount ID: Any ground mount id
  • -Ground Mount ID:Any ground mount id
  • -Mount distance: 100


Vendors:

  • -Use flight paths: Unticked (May work if ticked.)
  • -Find vendors automatically: Unticked


Mail and refreshments:

  • -Mail recipient: Must enter character name


Looting:

  • -loot mobs: Ticked
  • -loot Chest: Ticked
  • -Skin mobs: Unticked
  • -Ninja: Ticked
  • -Harvest Minerals: Optional

Personal note:

I'm a miner and i'm gaining a good amount of Ghost Iron Ore and Trillium Ore.

Also a lot of greens to be vendored or AH/DE. And a lot of Windwool Cloth.. 1H 30M = 6 Stacks of Woolwind.. For me at least

Also if you want to get motes faster.. Be a DPS class, be level 90 and decent geared. Makes the killing a lot faster, which means more loot, more chance and more motes.

I make around 2k-5k a hour.

I think the best profile would combine black prince rep, mote of harmony and Skyshards. :)
 
haha yeah, but this place has lots of mobs, they're all weak and have the same % chance to drop motes as other places. Catch is, it's faster here since they're weaker and more of them.

You get shards from this, they also drop motes. No idea if you get Black Prince rep though.

The profile is really awesome but vendor/mail does not work for me.
Any advise?
My lvl 88 Pala does 2,4mio xp/hr with this profile!

*Edit: My toon is a horde char.

Crap farmspot tbh.. 40 minutes 1 mote..

And the bot is not looting, targeting a new mob instead.
 
Used this to get from 89.5 - 90 last night. Got about 30 motes and 40+ stacks of cloth in 5'ish hours.

Came back this morning to find my character stuck on the side of the mountain and dead, so it wasn't able to run back into the cave to recover its body.

As has been mentioned, mailing and vendor doesn't work for me. I did have to stop the bot half way through the night, run to town and mail out my full bags. When I came back in the morning, my bags were completely full again...so I don't know how long they had been full for and how much loot I missed.

I also noticed that there is some looting issues and that my character would move to other mobs without looting a bunch of times. Turned the loot radius down to 25 and it helped a bit, but still missed some loot piles.

Must be bad luck, i've gotten over 40 motes in 5 hours, first hour got 15 then next 20. then 5 motes over the last 3 hours.

Hmm weird, For me when it kills a group of mobs it sometimes will skip and go to another mob but it normally loots everything.

With the the bot gets stuck can you give me the cords? I've had no issues with the bot getting stuck.

Could try removing all but the top mailbox and vendor in the .xml

I've had no probelm with the mailbox and vendor and it's still working for me, i'm alliance but shouldn't make a difference.


I have had issues with the latest honorbuddy where my character will stand still untill I manually select a mob or move, this never happened on build 476.
With the loot issues try setting loot radius too 25 as rfytobuddy said, I use AOE looting and have no problem with looting still. Yes it skips to the next mobs but still normally gets all the loot.

Mailbox and vendor issues, tyr removing all mailboxes and vendors expect the top ones inthe .xml I'm not sure what's happening but mail/vendor works for me.

i got it to work except he isnt vendoring or mailing

bags full and he just keeps killing

update: finally went to vendor and it just keeps opening and closing the vendors window.

Just noticed with the latest HB update the bot doesn't like too atttack or move from one spot, tried it with serveral profile versions.(Ones that worked for me) I believe some of the bugs are with HB not the profile.

Sweet thats good! Also i've my problems with the profile were fixed with the update for HB that came out 5 minutes ago lol.
