if i'm going to have a large number of bots, wouldn't it be smart to have them all on different ip's?

so that way if one were to get banned, it would be that and not all of them (right?).

i dont understand why people ask these questions.
how is somebody here supposed to know that, just because you use different IPs for your bots, they won't all get banned at the same time? Or at different times?
If it makes you feel better, than do it. Can't hurt.
That is the only answer.

that's not the only answer, that's your uneducated opinion.

how is one to know? well, obviously i aim this at the people who do do this, for their educated opinion.

hey dumb ass, if people knew HOW blizzard banned, NOBODY WOULD GET BANNED and we would all use separate IPs for each instance of diablo3.
Oh wait, nobody knows how blizzard bans for sure, therefore my opinion is the best answer to your already stupid question.

i'm not asking how blizzard bans, i'm asking people experienced in this aspect to give me intel.

go away

^i lol'd at this

if you want my honest opinion i think that it's all a huge waste of time. there is a perk to using a V P N, i've never done this myself but I've read a lot of people who get banned call blizzard after playing dumb and claiming they got hacked and to blizzard this looks probably because they see the V P N's IP. However, blizz tracks a lot of the the big VP services and they can sometimes detect when people are using them. Using VP N is against eula, grounds for ban, yadda yadda. I haven't read to many annecdotes of people getting banned for using a V P N but I have read a few.
