How to use bot to farm gold?

Hello fellow botters!

I know there probably is alot of these threads out there, but i couldnt really find an answer to my question by searching on the forums here, so i decided to make my own thread! :D


So here is the deal. Today i botted from 0-600 in mining, and i have 593 in engineering. I also have a 90 druid with no profs, so i am open to bot some profs up there as well if its needed.


So my question is, what type of bot can i use to earn as much gold as possible? (PREFERABLE FREE) I've read something about using gatherbuddy to farm obsidium ores (crazy price at my server now, about 200g a stack) But i have no idea how i do this or where i find the profile as i already did my search for that without any huge findings.

So what i am really asking here is how to farm gold using bot? And how to do it?

A little mini-tutorial or tips (or links to other threads containing a tutorial of what i ask) would be great!

EDIT: I am also open to do stuff myself , ofcourse. I am just talking about a bot that farms me the material, then afterwards i smelt it/transmute it myself and put it on AH etc.
Second EDIT: If someone could tell me how i make the bot only farm Obsidium Ores all night and puts them on the auction house/bank (so i could smelt them to earn x2 profit) would be very much decent enough for me as that would make me about 10k each night. Or just pretty much every ore i would like as ores/bars are insanely high priced at my realm atm. That kind of help would be great!

hey this looks awesome but how many people are actually paying for a profile?
me myself there is a fishing one that looks interesting but before i would pay i need to see if the fish actually sell on my realm..
 
Gatherit Services looks great. But at this time i have no available money to spend on such services.

So therefore i will keep this site to come back to it later, but at the moment i am wondering if there is any FREE services out there? Would so nice to get an awesome profile to make me gold. (Broke atm)
 
Gatherit got some good free profiles aswell, I've made 3-4k in 2-3 hours farm with one of them, using herbalism.
The prices on AH was a bit over priced at the time, but still.

You should try them out. Try them for 2-3 hours each and compare the results becaue it is bound that more people will use the same profiles on your server.

To really make money you would need both herbalism and mining on the same character (I havent gotten to do that yet thou, so i dont really know it)

But totally I've made about 40-50k gold with botting, not much, but i havent really botted alot either so.

I would suggest these (<--- Clicky). Imo, they're really good.

Gatherit got alot of free profiles on the forum, so it shouldnt be a problem to find one that suits you and your server.
(Check the AH for what sells for the most before you set the bot to farm)

Gatherit has some fine free profiles to use, and they work great. Give it a shot.. Also i am assuming you are pretty new to HB,If you plan on keeping these accounts, remember the word "Moderation".
 
Having one character with mining/herb another with alch/inscrip and one more Jewel/Enchanting is a great way to go! I'm still working on leveling the 3rd toon for Jewel/enchanting. For a couple of days I was only selling raw ore and herbs making 2k a day, 3k if it was a great day. Now I'm making on average 10k shuffling. Shuffling is the way to go!
 
Thank you for the replies! :D Its really nice to see that people are willing to help me here.

On my main character i have Mining + Engineering as said before, because Engineering is pretty god damn awesome. Mostly for the "Goblin Glider" in BGs. I spent about 10k leveling it so far (there was almost no cheap mats on AH) so i have problems wanting to unlearn it.

Gatherit services looks nice. And if it is some profile there that can mine + auction for me, where i could choose which ores to farm (obsidium etc) then i would defintly buy it.

Also i have been looking at that fishing profile. I can bot fish 0-600 first, then i will be thinking about buying it. But i am mostly interested in kind of a "auto-miner"


Thank you for warning me, I've heard gatherbot is quite risky. But so far i am willing to take that risk to make some gold. I love gold :D

Take some time and read Honorbuddy wiki and learn to make your own profiles, paying for profiles is ridiculous when all the info to make them for yourself is available. Someone already said it run a profile probably multiple profiles then do either a ore to enchanting mats shuffle or herb to darkmoon deck shuffle or both. Or if you just wanna be lazy just sell ores and herbs, but it will be less prfit though. If you need to know how shuffles work im sure one of us can explain.

Don't use public gathering profiles!
ohh, and dont pay for private ones!

you should make your own profiles (not that hard, but much safer) and use the best shuffle around
you can find it under the Profession section :)
it can mail, craft and AH all your stuff

also make a char with herb/mine or just switch from engi

This looks very hard for me to do as i am not that into c++ or any of those coding stuff.

I would gladly pay some dollars for someone to make a good one for me with auto mine + auction. Just like the 1-600 mining bot i used, which made me like 8k gold. If it would contain different profiles for different ores, where i could choose to smelt them / bank them / auction them. If anyone is willing to do this for payment, please get back to me. (The profile have to be good of course, preferable without alot of mistakes, bugs and de-routes).

I have read both these two articles and it just looks too advanced for me to do. (Plus i get really fast tired of doing the same thing for a long time when its advanced).
 
dude you have nothing to do with C++--++ :D
there are plugins and addons to make your own profiles and there are many nice profession profiles out there

making your own profile is the easiest
just record your hotspots, watch your bot running for a few hours to add blackspots (spots where it stops, cant land, cant gather, mass mobs, elites...etc)
trust me, i did this before...right after all my gathering accounts were banned!
 
Soooo... Lazy.... Would you do it for me lol? If you wanna make like 10-30$ i would gladly pay for it tbh. If its what i want.
 
ive made about 150k in the last week just using gatherits free profiles. 1 bot.
 
Damn i late reply. I quit wow a while back just starting. Which profiles did you use?
