How to run multiple instances (more than 3) of DB and D3?

I've seen some posts that fellow DB users have more than 4 instances running at the same time. I would like to known how is this possible because when I started my 4th instance, it started to become really laggy, and the lag won't go away until one of the bots crashed. I can only run 3 bots simultaneously at once. Anymore and it will get cranky. Any ideas?

What are your computer's specs?

I5 3550, 8gb ram, and hd4850 gfx card.

Are you running them all at 800x600 lowest settings? I would think a hd4850 could handle 4 clients. Have you opened your task manager and your GPU utility to check for bottlenecking?

make sure you have a folder for each d3 and it should run smooth.
