How to reconnect after DC?

Sometimes my bot disconnects, I am using arelog and it works very good, but when I DC, it does nothing because wow is still running? So, how can I re-log in when my character DC and wow kicks me to the log-in screen?

I believe if you are inactive on the log-in screen for some time, WoW will shutdown? Is that correct? If so, then arelog will do it's job by relogging in again. But what if it's not?

I've used HBRelog for years. Rarely, if ever, lets me down.
