How to make money on D3? Help Please

Obviously everyone here is using a bot and whether it be to gear up a main char or just to make some side cash, I would like to know some of the best ways to make money. I have made around $150 since the launch of the RMAH and from reading around that is not really that much. Also, most of that was before I found demonbuddy and started using the bot. I know that many of you will not want to give specifics from fear of losing the market. Please message me or post any information that would help. So here are my questions:

1. Are you just buying things from gold AH and then reselling on the RMAH? If so, what items are the best sellers in terms of buying cheap from the gold AH and reselling on RMAH?

2. Are you selling your gold directly to a website?

3. Are you just stockpiling gold waiting for the RMAH commodities, or PVP patch?

4. Are you buying craft plans and materials with gold, crafting the items, then selling on the RMAH?

Again, any help would be much appreciated. If you don't feel comfortable blatantly telling everyone your secrets, then don't do it... Or send me a PM if you do want to help. Thanks everyone in advance.
 
good luck, im helpful with as many things as I can be but I still won't part with any of this info and I doubt others will as well. That being said, if you do a little research either in websites or just using a spreadsheet to track and graph trends for certain things you might find some niche markets. I spent hours and hours of research finding my strategies, and Im not gonna just give them away on a website that is google-able. If these were private forums that's be a different story.
My advice to you short of receiving charity tips is

1. Think of gear that someone would find desirable. Look up odd, unique, novelty, and prototype builds and see what kind of items they need.

2. Look up good practices at assessing an items value (for both buying and selling). There are dozens of guides on how to do this.

3. Find a market that is not saturated, and utilize that, corner it if you have to.

4. ????

I haven't been able to find any good items, botting multiple accounts 24/7. The only way I could do it is to either sale gold or buy things with the gold (see the first reply) and then sell them. I only have one bot going for gold atm, and the others going for gear... I may just be going all for gold soon, because it is not paying off.
 
Thanks for the replys I guess I just have to do more research... What is an average amt of US dollars per million spent on GAH?
 
Don't take this the wrong way, but those people who are still making a lot of money in D3 won't give out how they are doing so.
 
With gold at $1/mil, and dropping still, there is no real money to be made, unless you have a bot factory lol.

Finding an item to sell on the RMAH, takes a lot of work, and know how. People also are not just going to share how to do it, or what sells well. Even if it is common sense.

It's time to just sell my entire gear set, see if I can get a grand out of it lol.
 
For an awerage botter with lets say 3 -5 bots running there is almost impossible to make any real money out of it. Gold per mil is to low an finding an item to sell on RMAH is to much luck dependant.

Maybe if you have enuf time you can invest into GAH and resel on RMAH but that takes lots of market knowlege and noone will tell you "Buy this ring for that price and sell it for XX € later" ... you will have to find this out by ur self.

botting is so stupid now unless u have over 10-15 bots running at once. gold prices just went full retard.
 
Sharing a couple of RMAH stratagies I have, made 600 in 2 weeks from it. If you wanna share stratagies you give me a pm. Trying to make more money from rmah, as im sure we all are.

I made about the same profit a week ago, then now this week I can't seem to sell a thing. Even searching for comparables and beating them by a reasonable margin isn't working, is ne1 else noticing this change? Like suddenly there's a lot more sellers than buyers or something in just the last little while. Meanwhile gold buyer msgs me the going rate is $0.6/m lolz.
 
I have noticed it take a little dip yeah, all of a sudden more items came up. Especially last night I got a 1200dps bow with 85% crit and a socket, then all of a sudden 3 came up almost the exact same!
 
So why exactly is the price per million such crap right now? Is there just an overload of gold or what?
 
Guessing its cuz theres no significant gold sinks and gold farmers have been around since day 1. No reason to hoard items since items never disappear so theres less spending. I think the game is more suited towards hardcore than normal in terms of the virtual economy.
 
The good times are over--- prices are crushing---less and less people play D3(surprise).
