How To: Make Demonbuddy work after a new patch!

Follow these steps and the end result will be a fully working D3 Bot and a happy community!

DON'T
1) Post threads whining that the bot stopped working! (They already know, it's their job!)
2) Ask for ETAs (They are working as fast as they can, while at the same time trying to keep the bot as safe as it can be to minimize banning)
3) Assume that no one else has posted the exact same thing that you are thinking of posting. (Glance through the forum... It's already been asked and answered)

DO
1) Keep an eye on the forums! (Any and all updates the team has will be in these forums.)
2) Watch for new beta builds! (If you are feeling adventurous download and test the new beta builds, they will need feedback on glitches and shortfalls to fix them and make the bot function better!)
3) Use common sense! (New patch = New offsets, New talents, new api hooks, LOTS of new things to change and add to the bot!)
4) Be patient! (They can't just wave a magic wand and make it work, it will take some time!)

The bot has stopped working?? O_o

must have seen that atleast 10 times now... good post mate hope people read this one because they sure can't read simple ANOUNCEMENTS....
i have confidence in the DB team to get this running again asap.

Have you not loaded the game and seen all the changes ?

By the looks of it to me its gonna be quite a bit of work to re-write the code to work with all the new additions to the game.

The wow bot was out for a good 1 week when MOP hit, this is basically the same for d3 because the majority of the content from the new expansion is already in the game now, Besides are you really gonna complain about not being able to bot for a few days? I'd rather wait 2 weeks and get a stable and maybe more important a safe working bot instead of a ban.

totally agree on all points. But magic wands are epic.

This is the point, a week waiting, is a ETA (more or less), maybe two because they have more experience with WoW. Thanks, wreckles.
 
Chill. They are working as fast as they can.
Im glad that patch 2.0.1 gives us the look of ROS. Because when ROS comes they have already made DB running 2.0.1 and thereby meaning less programming before DB works in ROS. :)

I'm thinking that all of the profiles will have to be re-written for the new patch. So even when they get DB up and running again, people are still going to be waiting.
 
Useful info for the people who aren't familiar on how "THIS" all works. However the title is extremely misleading
 
The point was to be misleading to get THOSE people in here to read it. .
