How to gear efficiently with a freshly dinged 70?

Hey guys,

I just leveled a char to 70 with demonbuddy. I have an account which I basically want to use exclusively for botting.

I have a bard and I want to be able to do Ghom on T4+ efficiently.

What's the best way to farm the gear required to do this? Which profiles would you suggest?

Should I run Ghom on normal for 100+ hours until I get some decent items, or is there a better way?

Or should I start with farming Kulle instead or Act 5 chest runs? Or even chain act 4 bounties?

Has anyone used DB to gear up a freshly dinged char and knows how to do it the best way?

I don't see any reason to run anything other then A4 bounties unless you're doing it on T6 in which case chest runs or Ghom w/really good gear gets amazing. But one way or the other you're also going to need cache items an A4 caches give all.

I'm running this all the way with almost no exceptions (other then say LegCompCraft farm for legendary mats) until rift profiles get good enough to be worth it. Stockpiling massive amounts of keys.

TBH. Id just farm act 1 caches to get your set ring. Then go build yourself 2piece cains set / guardian set / blackthornes set. with 3 set buffs you can do torment 1 np til you get better gear. im using [guardians helm/bracers], [Cains feet/gloves] and [Blackthornes Chest + Legs].

Oh. if you want to do ghom... i suggest you get Mara's Kaleidoscope. Prevents all poision dmg and heals you for what has been prevented.. which allows any char with 500k dps to do ghom t6 with atleast 7mil thoughness. tested on DH at the time. Takes a very long time though. =\ 3-4 minutes.

so you are saying, he still has to farm to get Mara's Kale? lol he's gearless though.

With no gear, chest runs imo. Especially /w barb since they're super mobile.

Craft all yellow gear at 70, stick in some crit enchants. Go farm legs.

ghom you will need shit load of poison resistance.... you want to do more damage and attack fast. farm for few nice weapon first and load up on IAS and crt and Critical Damage.
