How to do the shuffle? (JC/ENCH)

I was wondering if anyone would be able to explain to me, how exactly the shuffle works, using ench/JC.

I've found Neyders profile (http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...reme-jewelcrafting-enchanting-ah-profile.html) which I think looks really good, but before starting it, I would like to check the prices of the individual items, to make sure I dont slowly throw away my money.

But my question is....... which items should I look for on the AH, and how do you make sure, that you make a profit from it, when buying ores at X price and selling enchant mats at X price?

Sadly im not so good at math, therefor im asking if anyone would be able to help me out a little to get started, eventually for a few coins. :-)
 
I think I might have to refrase my question, as im not asking for a complete formula to do this, do that, then do this > profit!

Im having 600 JC and Ench, and im prospecting ghost iron ores.

I just cant seem to make a profit of doing it, even when buying low price pr. unit ghost iron ores.

I make jewelery neck/ring from the uncommon gems, then i disenchant those - then what do i do with the materials? enchants dosnt sell for ANYTHING on my server, unless it is the major sha crystal enchants, but none if this jewelery gives those?
Now, with all the uncut rare gems I get, what do I use those for? none buys the jewelery with serpents eye, and if im prospecting 5000 ores, I get soooooooooo many gems, that it is impossible to sell those.

so what exactly are people doing, when doing the shuffle? cos i cant seem to get it right =-/
 
Im no expert, but i think it is something like this:

D/e the necks and rings. Create scrolls with enchants and post them on ah. No matter what price, just undercut the lowest with a small amount. If you farmed your own ore its still profit. You are also able to upgrade the dust all the way to sha crystals (although the sha crystals are on a daily cd). So do that and after a while you will also be able to make high end enchanting scrolls.

For the gems you do the same. Craft like 20 of each type and post them on ah, and undercut by a small amount. Let the ah bot check regularly if you have been undercut and let it get the undercut ones of the ah and repost.

Ideally you would have an alchemist max level aswell, you would be able to let him transmute gi bars into trillium i think it was and transmute gems into meta-gems. The meta-gems than can be sold or resend to the j/c to cut the meta-gems for extra profit.

If I do as you write above, is it ment to sell the rare gems cut or uncut?
Also, doing the Sha Crystals daily is going to take alot of time just to make 1 enchant.
 
Im doing a small experiment now.

Left 5000g on my toon, bought alot of iron ore at 2.5g a piece, now I setup so that it prospects em all, makes jewelery from uncommon, disenchants, and makes ALL my available enchants on scrolls and then posts.
Combining the shards to make Serpent's Eye and sell.
Selling uncut rare gems.


Gonna let it run to midnight, and see how much gold I have then.


Am i missing something?
 
Depending on your servers market.. I can make considerably more gold converting my green gems into primal diamond's and cutting them than I can with disenchanting.. just something to look into.
