How to deal with AH flooder?

So I haven't used GB in a few months. I've be spending my time leveling toons with HB for cata and decided recently that I'm going to farm my ass off for the next few months and save for the expansion.

Before I started leving alts I was selling titanium stacks for 370g easy, saronite for 30ish, and eternals for a hefty amount also. Prices are incredibly different now. Titanium is on my AH now for 149/stack, saronite needs to be vendored to make a profit, and eternals won't even sell. This is frustrating but to be expected as time goes on. It'll just take a little bit longer I thought to myself.

Well my auctions haven't been selling even though I'm posting them for practically next to nothing. I decided to get creative and level alchemy and jewelcrafting to try to maximize profits. Well I just went to post some ink on the AH and i see 33 PAGES OF INK FROM THE SAME SELLER. This seller floods the AH nightly with herbs/ore and I'm pretty sure I know exactly who his character is as they run the WG Switch profile basically 24/7. This person single handedly destroyed the herb and titanium market on my server and I'm at the end of my rope here. Seeing 33 pages of ink from this douche set me over the edge.

I've never reported a fellow botter as I'm a firm believer that what goes around comes around but this is unbelievable. If you've had similar situations how have you dealt with people that post hundreds of auctions daily?

TL : DR - Dude is flooding the AH with 100s of auctions daily destroying any hopes of profits for other botters and I need suggestions on dealing with him.

Get private buyers, it's your only option... Or sell to guilds.

easiest way, advertise in trade, WTS Ink.. etc. and thats all, and youll start getting some requests for some bulk from private buyers or guilds

It is happening on my server too.

What I do is : Post at normal (auctionner price) for some of your stock, 5 stacks each not more. Wait till he gets a 72h for exploiting the economy and put more. They usualy do it for a week or 2 max before they get banned, and then you have about 2 days to sell your stock.

Private buyers and WTS...in trade channel is my advise, Im sure you ll get some profit if you do that.

How is cataclysm day to day cataclysm closer and closer, most of private buyers greatly decreased their demand. Its hard time now Herbalism becoming useless.

Personally.. save the titanim ore for JC's and prospect it. break up your saronite ore into groups (you kind of have to decide what works for you), some for prospecting, others just smelt/sell. Also consider using JC's and ENchanters to make/de stuff to sell raw mats. Some servers thats a huge bank avenue.

A little extra work usually makes alot more gold for those that put the effort the proof of concept worked for me

saronite ore > s bar > titanium bar > + eternals = titansteel

I dont know about your server but titansteel sells fairly well on mine still. You get pretty much all the earth and shadow from mining but might have to buy a few fire.
