Honestly, the bot is 95% broken and seems to keep getting worse with each revision.

I would suggest another bot until they get their shit together.

Workin just fine for me. In fact with the updated belph combat my barb is doin 5 stack siegbreaker runs with no deaths so far. granted i have the gear but the only issues i seem to be experiencing are on blizzards end.

Problems with the bot.

1) Crashes every ~2 hours for the majority of users

2) Takes as much processing power as D3. Makes multiple account very inefficient. You need a far stronger computer then you should. That computer will be expensive and the 1000w+ power supply will definitely raise your power bill.

3) Community Scripter/programers like Gile need alot more from the dev team. If the current trend continues the bot will eventually be 95% Giles.

4) Everything needs to happen a lot faster, games been out months now.


I'm getting tired of pouring over version historys and logs trying to find the right combination of what might work with little to no guidance only to be disappointed when my bot crashes repeatedly.

I was really pumped up about this patch, as i'm sure most of you were. Their was a lot to be made on the new legendary hype before the market got saturated. But the bot I purchased x 6 failed and I still haven't found a legendary because I'm not going to sit at my computer and watch a bot.

Anyways, prices have come down, people are leaving the game again, and the money ship has sailed for this patch...

I've only been in the DB universe for under a week, but with all the help readily available and easy to find on this site i managed to keep my down time to a minimum. All I know is i came from the hellybuddy scam artists and this bot, these devs, and the forums are all leaps and bounds above alot of whats out there.

I think the only reason I got banned to begin with is from the HB open beta. The problem isn't the bot its the Russian hackers who *****ed it open and zerged it back in version 178. With subsequent version I am going to trust DB because, so far they have only been true to their word on everything they've promised (wish I could say the say for Jay Wilson + cronies). All in all the current state of the server at Blizzard is in part an us and them issue. ie. We are zerging their servers with multi pronged botting and wondering why our scripts crash. Well its most likely than not an attempt by Blizzard to negate us. I might be wearing a tin foil hat and more than likely the reality is that the game is just falling apart, they patched it so people would play again now the server cannot sustain the player base. Sad really. This is going to scare away legit players in the end (this server instability atm).

For the record, bot is working fine. The server is fucked. There's a difference.

Thanks for the offer but I have tried literally everything with the current version with no luck. I never tried running just one bot because it would be pretty pointless for me as far as making $$$ goes. Right now I run 3 dedicated computers with 2 bots each. The client constantly freezes on all of them and I cant get any of the reloggers to work effectively. They are either not updated, don't work with the plugins or have some other problems.

I'm not really trying to criticize the buddy team, I know they support 4 other bots and have been able to successfully fend off blizzards legal assaults, which is pretty amazing. But...

Diablo 3 is serious business. There's a lot of money out there on the US servers and this downtime completely sucks. As far as botting for cash goes, WoW = Little league and Diablo 3 = Superbowl. I was hoping the devs were going to bring their A-game.

In the mean time I have been screwing with my own AH bot. Programed an auto it script to search filers on 6 accounts, synchronized. with a time delay so any one account doesn't get flagged for a gazillion searches. It's doing ok, but not as good as demonbuddy was before the last patch. Since players have 6 AH filters now, its much easier to correctly price items.

Been botting 18/24ish since launch, no bans, 4k+ profit.

On a final note. Since Demon Buddy wasn't working last night I decided to hit the casino and play some holdem after I gave up on the reloggers. I used to play full time and did pretty well.

yea spend couple hundred make 4k, complain your fed up with the bot not being sucessful for you. seems legit. It is a work in progress, times when code changes unexpected errors happen... if your so brilliant to the subject write your own and sell it? if not then please allow the devs to work and fix stuff. It is odd how many people come here and complain, but yet they are still here and making good money from a product that has life time keys requires no more investment other than utilities from your house... I always figured FREE money I LIKE

First, "I" made 4k not demonbuddy. It's work and apparently its sounds like Im doing it a lot better then you are. Write my own bot? When did I claim being brilliant or suggest that I could code a python bot? In case you cant find it, its because you made this up.

But if I was going to code a d3 bot, I probably wouldn't wait till blizzards patchday to throw all my untested changes into the bot, and make it an official release so all my customers can trouble shoot for hours on end with no official statement from the devs for days.
