How to AHbot?

Right now I am enjoying an AHbot at the moment on my main account for gems/enchant markets. There is someone who "owns" all markets at the moment on my server and I want to put him out of business. I believe he AHbots so i want to also. Should I create an account linked to my battlenet so I can safely trade items, and i can 24/7 AHbot? Or is AHbot 24/7 risky? How often should I run it? Just peak hours?

EDIT: I would do it on my main account, but I play during peak hours.

I recommend 18 on and 6 off during off-peak hours, I think 24 hours would eventually lead to a ban.

Thank you I was thinking the same thing. What is your opinion on peak hours? 3-9am server time?

About that, you can always experiment and take into consideration the population on the server (different time zones etc). Also you could research on theunderminejournal.com and see when your competition posts and coordinate with that.

24 hrs will ofcourse lead you to ban, and selling during night isn't very good, but doesn't matter alot, just $5 per month assuming you get banned each month

True, but if its attached to my battle.net under my name wouldnt my main account get banned also?

I think id rather take the safe route with 18 on 6 off, because I think guild bank trading and being in the same guild is sorta connected right?

yes, ofc you shouldnt have your main acc and bot acc in same guilds .. or even trade stuff.

If i have all gems and enchants on my main acct, how do i trade them without sending signals to my bot acct? and how do i trade the gold back?

The safest thing I can think of is putting auctions up on your main and buy with your ahbuddy, 5% loss, really not a good option but what other choice you have? put in gbank and easy connection.

There's built in AHBot.xml in ProfessionBuddy, and more advanced AHBuddy.xml for ProfessionBuddy here:

I use AHBuddy.xml to always have my auctions lowest on the ah. You can also make AHBuddy buy ores, enchant mats etc that cost less than X gold
